But in the end, paper can become something more solid.
"Hey, Quentin" "Oh, hey Margo. Whatcha, up to?" Q. says, not expecting to run into her in the middle of the city, not a paper city, but Toronto.
"Oh yeah, I was just going to see the TIFF Film Festival, want to see what indie flicks they have this time of year, you see?"
"Ok, cool enjoy TIFF. Anyway, good to see you. Keep in touch, bye."
Q left as Margo made her way to line up for the 12 hour wait for the premiere.
Eh, I still want her.
My heart hurts, I said I was in love with her but then her reply was that I didn't really know her.
Me and my friends drove all the way to Algoe, skipped the graduation parties and made my friends miss that as well, all to find out that she doesn't love me make matters worse, I declined her offer for me to stay with her in Algoe. But that kiss was amazing, I saw fireworks. I'm surprised that it even happened.
Anyhow here I am staring at the ceiling wondering when I'm going to see her again. Lacey and Ben are together, smitten as ever and Radar and Angela are like an old-married couple who finished each others' sentences now.
Well remember that time that Margo left, actually, multiples times that Margo just vanished? I just think maybe shes going to leave me little messages like that and eventually I'll find my way back to her again.
Tuesday I'm going to see the ball game, Jays against the Red Sox. I'm going with my best mate Radar.
Tuesday
During the break I go off to buy a hotdog. I was just about to eat it when I see a note stuck between the tin foil
It read: "Go there tomorrow. Coordinates. Latitude: 43°42′00″ N. Longitude: 79°24′58″ W. Go alone only. Stay in the stacks."
Oh, I wonder what this is, thought Q.
"Hey, Radar. Check this out." as I pass the note to him. Radar looks for it for a minute as her scans it for clues. "Do you know where these coordinates are for?"
"No, idea, Q. ... but it seems like there for Toronto. T.O. Toronto, Ontario."
"Alright, Radar. Let's see if we can unscramble them to find a word or something." "Wait, it seems like it might say "to onto arrow"."
Where's the arrow? Stay in the stacks? What does that mean? You have any idea, R.?"
"Nope. Let's see. Stacks. Arrows. We need to find the general vicinity of the location first before we can figure anything out."
"Ok. Maybe we will get more clues so this makes more sense," I suggested.
I sat there half-expecting something else to show up, but nothing did. Days passed by. I wished I had Margo's contact info. but she was too mysterious for that.
