(A/N: So I'm going to state this first, my knowledge of the whole Digimon story is limited to what shows I watched so this may or may not quite coincide with any of the shows or games. I wanted to look up as much of the story as I could but the whole timeline is rather complex but I'll do my best. Like I said, this is my first ever Digimon story so don't be too harsh, this isn't as easy as Pokemon. Anyway, the song I'm using here is "Darkness Intro" from the show RWBY.)

Prologue

*The digital world. Some could say this world was born long ago when long-range communication was invented. As men built communication towers and sending telegrams to one another, the digital was as primal as of the Ice Age years. But like men, over time it began to evolve as technology began to evolve. For many years the world was undisturbed, but that changed in the mid-1990's…

Somehow, two digimon were able to cross into another dimension, the world of the humans. It was at that moment that things were about to change. Four years later, humans would soon make contact with our own world. Known as the "DigiDestined", they were chosen to save both worlds from the evil that plagued our home. And indeed they were successful, defeating the Dark Masters and their creator. But it wouldn't be the end just yet…

A new order has been established in secret, and the DigiDestined have not been seen in years, although of course time in this world is different than theirs. But even if they did return, it is already too late.

So let them come if they choose, but they cannot stop the motions that have already been put in place…

It was a cloudless night in Nerima, Japan. The only activity that could be seen or heard was the cars that went in and out of the city. Nothing out of the ordinary, or so people thought.

On top of one of the perches was a figure hiding in the shadows, looking out from a pair of electrobinoculars. "I have to say, humans are more boring than I thought." The figure moved a strand of her hair out of her eyes and kept looking. She had a human figure but she was anything but human.

She then glanced at her watch. Almost eight o'clock. She would be getting a message soon. Once it did reach eight, it was almost instantaneous as her watch then displayed the message. "Understood," she murmured. She then crept out of her perch and jumped from building top to building top and stopped about three hundred meters from her desired target. She then looked again through her binoculars towards the apartment complex Highton View Terrace. She hadn't been told much about her mission but was given a name.

Kamiya.

(A/N: So I know it's not much so far but it is a prologue. Just so you know, I have this listed as part comedy because Digimon always has its comic humor and of course I wish to honor that. As for my other stories, sorry I haven't been able to update as much as I once did; school has been busy for me but I'll do what I can. Anyway, I hope you guys will enjoy this story once it gets started and of course, I do not own Digimon or any of its characters. Peace.)
