Chris and Jill ran for their lives, Jill taking the lead, with Chris close behind. Their fur coats were being soaked in the rain, paws were getting muddy, and field of vision getting shorter.

Along with their humans, they were sent on a mission to find survivors of a helicopter crash in the woods. Their humans however, were lost in the storm. The cause of their disappearance, and the source of Jill and Chris's horror, was a case of a pack of unnerving wild dogs.

Earlier, when the two Police dogs headed deeper into the woods to find a clue as to the location of the survivors, they only found the wild dogs ripping the survivors bodies to shreds. With no time to investigate, Jill and Chris hightailed back to their humans, but found no sanctuary. Their humans and team were missing. helicopter was missing. They were abandoned. Of Course, they were dogs. They didn't know this. They couldn't fathom the idea of being abandoned.

With time running out, they were about to let up, until the wild dogs stopped barking. Had they out ran them? Jill and Chris kept running, and as the fog cleared, they saw a building in the distance. It was more like a house. A residence, if you will.

The door was opened, almost as if it were inviting them in, and as they stepped through, the door locked tight. At that moment, they felt a foreboding presence. They were filled with a sense of dread. More than they have ever had in their entire lives.
