Town Center, Death City, CA
Maka Albarn (POV)
We have seen it all, Soul. I would mumble to myself. This life never seemed to amaze me. But, Soul did. He knew how to make me laugh. To cry, to be who I am. He is my world. As Weapon and Meister, Our mission in life was to make this world a better place. He was all I thought of. He is what keeps me…alive…
We have been together for 4 years now. People mistake us for a couple so it gets a little awkward. He just makes a little correction, then it's all good. He never loses his cool. I wonder is he even knows what I think?
Living Room, Apart. 7, Death City, CA
Soul Evans (POV)
I lay on the couch in the living room, thinking. You would think being a death scythe an all would be cool? Yea, it sort of is I guess. But, when I'm around Maka, It feels like I'm going to lose my mind. Every time she finishes taking a shower the she walks by with that little "Sass" in her walk, The smell of her mint body wash and strawberry shampoo flows right by, and that scent drives me up the wall. She gives me a slight glance and smiles. That is always the highlight of my day. I would do anything for her…I would even die for her…I wonder when I should give this to her?

No (POV)
"Hey Maka" Soul got up smoothly and helped her with the bags. He reached over to grab the bags from her hands , he brushed against them to feel her skin cold as ice. He slightly pulled back and turned away.
"What's wrong Soul?" She put the bags she carried on the floor. She walked towards the sink to wash her hands. He carried the bags in and set them on the counter top. After she dried her hand she walked past soul and he grabbed her hand.
"Soul? Are you okay? What's wrong?" He took both hands and put them in between his own.
"Why are your hands so cold?" His warm breath was huffed against my hands which made her shiver.
"S-Soul…" She whispered softly she got closer to him and he looked up at her. His worried gaze softens and his hands slowly released hers. His warm, comforting arms found their way around her waist. He gently pulled her against his torso. Her arms slipped around his neck. Her head resting on his shoulder. His cool voice whispering the words she was longing for her whole life.
"Maka…I love you." Her eyes widen in surprised.
"More than anything in the world…" He continued in a slightly louder voice.
"Soul… I" He pulled back and pulled her to the balcony, taking a small silver box out of his pocket, Walking out to the cold moon lit night. Taking out the box, He got down on one knee…
"Maka, this isn't really romantic enough, I understand that, Uh… and this isn't the same scenes in your romance novels…But, I can't take it anymore, Will you ma-"
"YES!"
"…"
"Oh but…please finish." She choked back some tears, she clamped her hands together.
"Maka Albarn, Will You Marry Me?" He took the ring out and put it on her ring finger. She did a small gasp at the ring's beauty and said…
"Yes, definitely yes." She gazed at the ring lovingly, Soul let out a long sigh of relief. She let out a small giggle to Soul's embarrassing gesture out on the balcony. He stared at her, and she looked up at him. The moon light shining of her face was a beautiful sight, he thought to himself. I'm lucky to have such a cool partner.
