It was a dark day today in nightvale since today the sun had not risen. The lack of sun today didn't affect the pristine white lab that a small group of scientists worked in, the leader of the group was sitting at a large transparent desk with lots of paperwork and scientific equipment sitting on it. He adjusted his glasses awkwardly as he looked down at the paper he had been writing on, he was behind in his work because his adorable boyfriend had a week off last week and so he had gotten caught up in spending time with him. One of his assistants walked up to his desk her form blocked the large light that hung from the ceiling. He looked up slightly annoyed she smiled at him and handed him a note. He took it from her and looked over it.
"Thank you Terra" he said smiling and going back to work. Trying to ignore the odd note covered with ancient text. After an unknown amount of time another person walked up to his desk again and handed him some more paper work. By this time he was extremely tired and annoyed by the fact that people just kept coming up and giving him more work to do. He looked over at the clock and sighed realizing that it was probably wrong. After a while all of the other scientists left with no more work for them to do. He was extremely tired but he trucked on anyway taking a sip from his science coffee mug. The only person left his assistant Terra who was doing her school work walked up to him. He raised his head and smiled briefly at her.
"Ummm Mr. Carlos someone is here to see you" she said smiling at him
"I'm very busy right now Terra" he said gesturing to the last stack of paper's he had to go through
"Um I know sir but he's insisting he sees you" She said when out from behind her popped a blonde tanish radio host. Carlos smiled stood up and hugged his boyfriend happily.
"Hello Carlos!~" He sang hugging him back "I came to pick you up since you were taking so long to get home."
"Cecil I've got some more paperwork to do but I'll be done soon" Carlos said
"Ok neat!~ I'll just sit here and wait" He said and rolled a office chair across from Carlos. Carlos with new incentive he worked harder and faster. Once he was done he and Cecil left leaving Terra to lock up.
