Emily Quartermaine decided that she wanted to make this Christmas extra special for her boyfriend Nikolas, he had been through so much over the past few months and she thought he needed a break.
She wanted everything to be perfect, but she didn't have any money for presents. So she decided to get a part time job as an elf at the mall, it would be the perfect job because it would be over right after Christmas.
They hired her right away because they really needed the extra help, and she was great with kids. On her first day she saw another person dressed in an elf costume and decided to go say hi.
"Hi," she said as she saw the person turn around.
"Hi," he replied with a shocked look on his face.
The other elf was none other than her boyfriend Nikolas, it turned out that they both wanted to make Christmas perfect for the other. They laughed over the whole thing.
After the day was over and the mall was about to close for the Christmas break, Nikolas and Emily went to the changing rooms to get their things. After they grabbed all their stuff and were ready to go home, they noticed that the door was locked.
"It can't be locked," she exclaimed as she tried the knob again.
"Oh no," she cried
"It's ok," said Nikolas trying to comfort her.
"No, it isn't. Were stuck in here and we probably won't be able to get out until Monday." Emily then started to cry.
"Em, it will be ok. I promise." He said as he held her close.
They decided to make the best of the situation; they would have their own little Christmas together, until they could get out. After all they needed was each other.
