I do not own Romeo X Juliet ~ Please enjoy!

The italics indicate that Juliet is thinking to herself.

She stood there in silence. Listening to the insects whispering to each other. Her brownish reddish hair glitters within the sunlight.

Romeo...she whispers silently. The forbidden name, the rival, the enemy, the one she must kill.

She grasped her hands tight, resisting to cry.

I am not scared...Nor am I sad. I'm just worried about those pathetic Montague after I slay their only child. They shall groan and suffer for what I have endured past these years.

Yes! I shall and must, I shall take revenge which I have sworn to protect my family's name and honor.

She lifts her sword up high, as the sunlight reflects the sliver lining across her pale face. Her pride is calling her name. It echoes around her, but she couldn't stop the one thing she feared. Her heart and brain told it not to start. It was unstoppable which angered her even more...

Why do these tears, do not stop. I am a Capulet! He is a Montague. The one that bears the name Romeo shall have his blood spilled across town. Stop now tears, do not suffer for the likes of him. Stop flowing down my face like a stream.

She loses strength on her legs and stump down on the ground, dropping her sword. She sat their silently, looking across the green hill which she always visits. She closes her eyes and lets her tears dry feeling the wind across her face. The peaceful atmosphere which she longed for, the sweet sounds of birds chirping, and the warm sunlight which brings her warmth.

She stands swiftly as she hears a rustle among the bushes. She grabs the sword and grasps it tightly. She can feel her sweat pouring down along her forehead, as her legs tremble with fear yet she knows she can't run any more, why she is Juliet.

"Juliet…" A small voice is to be heard. "I-I brought you some flowers" A boy stood there with flushed cheeks and a handful of flowers.

There stood a girl with teary eyes with a steel sword which was handled tightly ready to strike.

There lies a story about two star-crossed lovers. Both waiting to face death yet lovingly willing to accept.
