How To Quit A Jonas

She frowns when she sees another advertisement on Disney starring them. She glares when she hears him tell Hannah Montana that she's beautiful even though he's just memorizing the script. She seethes whenever she reads another magazine asking him about his love life and he just laughs it off.

She knows it's for her own good (who wants rabid fan girls threatening to cut off her hair right?) But maybe she doesn't care anymore.

Make a plan to love me sometime soon.

She hears that their back in town and she isn't shocked when she hears someone climb into her window that night. She pretends that she's asleep and can't hear him spilling his heart to her. (Even though it kills her) He kisses her softly on the cheek and tells her that he'll come visit her tomorrow. She sighs when he finally leaves.

She avoids him for the next two days. She goes over to see Nick and Kevin only when she's quite sure he's out and she makes sure her windows are locked at night. On the third day, she caves in and leaves the window open. And for the second time that week, someone climbs into her bedroom (as creepy as it seems, she's always made exceptions for Joe Jonas)

This time, he doesn't even pretend to think that she's asleep. Just like old times, he stations himself on the edge of her bed, cross legged.

"You've been avoiding me," he whispers. She can detect the tiny hint of hurt that he tries to so cleverly hide when he speaks. He couldn't keep anything from her even he wanted to. (And neither could she but you'd never hear her admitting it) She makes an indistinguishable noise in response. Even though it's dark, she can tell that he's smirking as he kicks at her legs, pestering her to get up.

"I'm up! Geez, you can stop kicking me now," she says exasperated. Just like she knows he's smirking, he can tell that she's glaring at him.

"Long time no see Jennifer Juniper," he uses her nickname as a sign of peace. (As in he's silently begging her not to start the verbal whiplash yet) She rolls her eyes and chooses to remain silent. She gives him what he's wanted for the past three days, a chance. (Among other things that he's wanted)

"Three minutes Jonas," she held up three fingers. "I need my beauty sleep you know."

He snorts at her blatant sarcasm.

"I only need one O'Leary," he replies. And then, to prove his statement, he plants soft butterfly kisses on her neck. (What's a girl to do?)

It takes all her willpower to push him away and muster a decent glare. He stares innocently at her which only serves to further agitate her.

"You can't just come back and pretend that nothing's wrong Joe. That's just not how it works," she says in such a way that makes her think maybe she doesn't really believe that. (even though she has too)
