What Happened Then?
Some day it was then...Me,Tifa,Barret and everyone else from the group were confused..Was it Aeris that saved us,After all that.....Some days those were..Listen.
(Plains By Midgar): The Highwind had landed upon Midgar's field.Tifa sat down on the grass spacing out into the sky Cid looked over at from the deck..He called me over and asked me to go see if anything was up in her mind..Placing myself next to her,Its like she didnt notice me..Oh well.."Whats up Tifa?..Something on your mind?" She looked down at the grass,swinging her feet.."Does she still run through your mind?" I looked at her knowing what she meant.My reply.."Most of the times..." She blew out a sigh.Not even bothering to look at me."Did you..forget?.." I knew what she meant,the promise...7 years ago..Such a long time..."No i havent.." laying her hand on my lap,she looked at me..eye to eye.."Is she...back?...... back here on..the planet?" I stayed silent,because i knew what her next question was going to be.::sigh:: "Cant answer my question?"..."No..Tifa i dont want us to stop being close friends,i care for you just much as you care for me" Tears began streaming down her face..She stood up and ran off toward the highwind.I didnt bother chasing her if only i didnt have that feeling for Aeris..Me and Tifa would still have the great trust we always had...Its not easy to be me sometimes..I just stayed laying on the grass staring up at the stars...hearing Cid's footsteps..he asked "Im'a close up...Ya staying out here?"..."Yea"
(Inside The Highwind): Tifa hugged her knees..Just letting her tears out..how much did she care for me..Did she like me? or more than that..Oh well..She stayed inside the chocobo room,her back against the hay...Cid walked into the room and asked "What happened out there?" She stayed silent,ignoring the question..Cid sat next to her "Tifa...i know we dont know eachother well..but i like to at least talk to you once in awhile".."You wouldnt even know...it would take me a whole lifetime to tell you" she said as she sobbed..he smiled "I got time" Hours passed as she told him,it was almost morning "so youre basically jealous of Aeris." Cid said playfully "No im not" she threw a soft playfully punch..Both laughed and out nowhere...Their lips touched..Let me tell u what i did through all those hours....spended my time in Midgar and maybe you might know where i was
(In Midgar): I was inside all night...First i went to Aeris's old house..I guess her step mother had fled from Midgar..The door was ajar..Someone was inside i guess..Stepping in quietly i looked around,Heading up the stairs i ended up running into Tseng who was in Aeris's room..He stood there..I guess he knew who had already entered "Hojo's Specimen..or Cloud..What brings you here into this house"..."I had to see something....... yourself?" ...Tseng turned around "Look ive seen Aeris since she was a child..i was always sent here to take her to Shinra Inc...she never wanted to go...and she may be dead or came back,But i will continue on with my objective..whether or not she comes here...i will remain in the house..Till i complete my objective".I stepped out and went off to the church in sector 5...where i first met her..i stepped in and saw two little kids taking care of the flowers..they saw me and just ran through the back...But for me...i dont know was i imagining stuff..seeing a glimpse of Aeris..like her ghost still caring for the flowers..I went close to it but it then faded away...I blew out a sigh and just sat on one of the benches seeing that it was morning..I headed back to the Highwind seeing everyone asleep..Barrett's loud snoring...Going off to deck..i sat there seeing the sunset...I heard footsteps behind and arms going around my waist..someone leaning on me..i turned around and noone was there..Couldve been...Nah...must be drinking too much...gotta get some sleep.........
