A/n: hi guys this is a Ness/Lucas fic, for V-day and it's quite fluffy so I hope you like it

It just hadn't been Lucas's day. All day he had made mistakes, tripped, fallen, and just about humiliated himself to his own breaking point, one that wasn't so hard to reach, though a certain special someone's comforting always helped,

Wait…special someone…oh! Something seemed to go ding! In Lucas's head oh no! oh no, valentine's day!

"Hey! Lu-cas, Lucas!" Yelled someone, this voice made him so happy he would've cried, but he knew not to, for superficial reasons.

Turning his head as joy overfilled in his head, as he saw Ness! This made him so happy, oh just so happy to just see him, it was kind of stupid, that he usually thought but not today, no, he was just to absorbed in other things, like how terrible his life was for instance, but he pushed those thoughts aside to make himself look all-to-happy as he almost ran towards Ness, almost pushing nana over which would be a bad idea, seeing as she was just as tough…NO tougher than him or really any girl who wore a pink outfit and carried a smile all year round.

As he finally reached Ness after what felt like hours! Happily he received one of Ness's million dollar smiles, seriously, Lucas said to himself how is it he's always so happy?!

"Hey! Happy valentine's day, dude!" Ness said in a happy tone

"O-oh? It's valentine's day?" Lucas replied, "crap." He felt like shit lying to Ness, you know since it's just one of those things that you just didn't do.

"what? Don't you have any valentines?"

Lucas shook his head, feeling smaller and smaller as every second passed.

Ness took hold of Lucas's shoulders, in the most non-menacing way, causing Lucas to blush furiously at the close contact.

"You don't have a valentine…?!" Ness interrogated almost, a little too loudly, causing people to turn around in confusion.

"Um no…" Lucas retorted, slightly annoyed at Ness's overreaction, "I-I don't…I guess…"

Ness stopped, and did something odd, even for Ness, leaning in, grabbing Lucas's shoulders once more and giving him what I like to call a "chu" known to you as A kiss.

As Ness broke the kiss, he gave Lucas another smile and was off, leaving the other boy a slight bewilderment at whether he was sane or not.
