Don't Lose Me
A/N: What? A new story by me? Yup here's another story that I hope you enjoy. The first chapter is pretty short; I just want to see your reactions first before continuing on with it. Enjoy~

One more thing! I'm only calling it a slight AU just because I can imagine a world where Ichihime wouldn't work out perfectly.
She took one last glance at him
"Let me go,"
They were together for five years.
In the eleventh grade, he got the courage to ask her out.
Ichigo Kurosaki had asked her in the place where he felt most comfortable, up on top of the school rooftop.
May Ninth he recalls, it was the ideal weather that day; the sun was out and there was just enough of a breeze to keep the air warm.
The wind blew from the west, teasing a loose strand of auburn locks belonging to Inoue.
"Inoue,"
"Yes Kurosaki-kun,"
"Do you want to get some ice cream after school today?
Her fair cheeks tinted a rose pink before she smiled.
It was only the two of them up there and if you listened closely you could've heard the fast tempo beat of both teenagers.
It was innocent love, an unlikely love, a typical high school love (even though they weren't exactly the typical normal students).
Yet it seemed much more at the time, they had already gone through so much and assumed that maybe their love was the real thing as well.
They were each others' first true love. Each possessing more love towards the other than they had ever experienced before.
But maybe that was what lead to the ultimate break up of the two, their inexperience of love.
He had said I love you first, much to Tatsuki's disbelief, two months later.
He had not planed on it, but seeing her in her pure white yukuta on that starry Tanabata night got the words to come right out of his mouth.
Orihime had smiled that supernova smile just before the first tear fell down.
And then it was official, that Ichigo Kurosaki and Orihime Inoue were boyfriend and girlfriend.
"You promised," He looked straight into her eyes, "You promised me,
You said that you would never leave me alone."
Their love stuck together even after graduating high school. They would always try to find time to spend together.
Yet somehow, somewhere in between their love, it started to falter.
And then the strength of their love was tested.
Even though she was crying he could hear her clearly
"It's over, Ichigo, it's over."
"But why Orihime?"
"I'm scared."
A/N: I'll going to stop right there, but you'll find out in the next chapter as to why Ichigo and Orihime's relationship isn't doing so well.
