Hayden opened her eyes, a dull pain radiating through her head as she sat up with a low groan. Where in the actual fuck was she? And why did she feel... Well there were no exact words she could pinpoint to describe how she felt. But it was safe to say that she didn't feel this way before when she was with Ben. Ben! Where was that asshole? And how did he get off denying her and their baby? She knew she was no saint, but she did deserve to be treated with at least an ounce of respect. She was pregnant with his baby for crying out loud!
With a low growl, she heaved herself off the ground, and brushed the dirt from her clothes. Hayden's eyes scanned the perimeter, realising that she was exactly where she wanted to be, in Dr. Ben Harmon's backyard. "Excellent..." a slow smirky grin danced across her lips as stalked through the back door. It was strange how fast she got it, like she barely even touched the door knob and she was inside the dark basement. Now usually, dark, creepy basements freaked Hayden the fuck out, but now... Now she felt right at home, interestingly enough. The cool darkness comforted her somehow, and made her feel at ease. As she stood there a moment, a quiet rustling towards the back of the basement interrupted her quiet time. "Hello?" she called out, a slowly fear washing over her, like a bucket of water, coating her from head to toe. "Ben?" she crept slowly forward, peeking her head tentatively around the wall. A few different faces met her eyes and she cringed back a bit, but still put on a brave face. "Who are all you people?" she questioned then, her eyebrows furrowing.
"We live here... And now, so do you..."
"Wha-... What do you mean? Sure some day, yes, but not until I can get Dr. Harmon to rid himself of that stupid redhead..." she was surprised at this revelation.
"Also... You're dead," someone else told her.
"Dead? Funny ass joke..." she started laughing, but when she saw the serious faces the other people in the cellar were giving her, she stopped.
"So I'm dead? Like... Dead... As in my heart has stopped beating? In the ground dead?" she raised a brow as she lifted her hands out in front of her. They still looked solid...
"Yes you're dead Hayden, and you might want to check out the lovely gazebo your boyfriend is building over you," someone else pointed out.
Hayden stalked back to the window, just to see that in fact, Ben Harmon himself was levelling off the land and hammering together the frame, buckets of concrete mixer on standby behind him. A deep growl erupted from her chest as her memories flooded back to her. Ben denying their baby AND her, being dragged out back so Ben could toss her out like garbage, then out of nowhere THWACK! Intense pain followed by a bath of cool, calm darkness. It enveloped her every sense until she couldn't feel anything. And then she woke up.
"Bastard!" she seethed, a new emotion spreading over her like an uncontainable disease. Pure red hot fury coursed through her veins, and set her blood boiling, her body was on fire. She'd make him pay, she would. Though of course if he'd only tell her he loved her, then perhaps she'd be lenient. But until then, it was on. She was going to make his life a living hell, and his wife, and that stupid daughter of his. Was it time to tell Vivian about Boston and her almost abortion? Yes... Yes it was.
A slow smirk spread out on her lips as she crouched in the dank basement, planning her attack on the Harmon family.
