New Heroes

Summary: Claire meets Mark and Jaclyn, two new empowered people. They team up to fight Sylar.
Prologue:
Seventeen year old Mark Lowell was training to be a mixed martial artist. His style was a mixture of boxing, karate, and judo. He had a black belt in karate and judo. He felt a weird feeling in his body. It felt like he was heavier than he really was. Then he punched the boxing bag and his fist had gone into the bag.
He looked at his fist. "What the hell?" he said, as he saw his fist glow with a red light and the light had a marble pattern to it.
He thought of the new girl at his school who everyone thought had a superhuman healing factor like Wolverine. He left his house. He saw his friend from next door Jaclyn Brootz leaving her house.
"Hey, Jackie!" he exclaimed.
They were best friends ever since the first grade. They were close like family. Mark was closer to Jaclyn than to his real sister, Colleen. They were called Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable by their friends and teachers.
"Hey, M how are you doing?" Jaclyn said, with a smile. She was a brunette who had sky blue eyes. She wore a blue t-shirt, blue jeans and sneakers.
"Fine, Jay. Something bizarre happened to me just now back in my gym at home."
"What you broke your weight lifting record?"
They went across the street and suddenly a car was going to hit them. Mark looked and pushed Jaclyn out of the way and then he flashed that weird ruby red glow and the car went through him.
Jaclyn saw this and she blinked and rubbed her eyes. Mark walked over to her. "Are you okay?"
"Am I okay? What about you? That car just- and you flashed and then – Ai aye, I got to stop eating tuna salad sandwiches before bedtime."
"I think I am special," Mark said.
"So what are your powers?"
"So far massing and phasing," Mark responded.
"Massing?"
"What else should I call it? I get more massive and stronger than normal and I make holes in stuff that I have no business putting holes in."
"O.K., you're like that hot mutant guy on Mutant X, Jesse."
"Yeah."
They went to school.
