Fear me no longer
Sasuke POV
All I see is the abyss of black, the two tunnels that seem to have no end. The black disappeared in a swirl like motion and is replaced by red. I see my reflection now, the same red eyes staring back at me, my face exactly the same as before.
"Sasuke, a pleasure," those cold words slipped out of his mouth. His politeness has not withered with his age.
I stared with a feeling akin to desperation at his brother. My brother remained unmoving, emotionless.
Normal POV
"If that is what you want, you shall have it," Sasuke smiled a bitter smile that betrays no hint of joy.
Sasuke wanted to beat Itachi, to make him submit to himself. He loved Itachi, more than his relatives, more than his parents.
Sasuke has a twisted way of thinking, but sense is not so common nowadays. Gang life, murder, hatred, these are more commonly found in teenagers. Education, morals, self control was put in the bin with all other things, along with family and love.
It was a fight to the death. Itachi's hits were easily blocked by Sasuke and Sasuke struck back with twice the force.
The battle didn't last for long, Sasuke emerged victorious. Itachi was at his feet, bloody and battered.
"One that loses is not one fit to live," Itachi's final words as he coughed out another pool of blood.
Sasuke watched his brother die painfully. Sasuke wanted to save him, but pride is a man's everything. Even if Sasuke did saved Itachi, Itachi would not die but would feel like dying. What's the use of living without a purpose?
Itachi's purpose was to fight for Akatsuki; Sasuke's purpose was to get stronger than Itachi.
Itachi's body went limp as life slowly drained from his body. Sasuke waited for a few minutes before walking over.
The blank red eyes were still staring straight at him, mouth curved downwards. Sasuke was surprised to find tears, on his brother's face. It had mingled with the blood, making the blood diluted.
To Itachi, showing your emotions was a form of weakness.
Sasuke lifted Itachi's body, it was surprisingly light. He carried it to the hill where the used to play.
He dug. Dug until the stars cam out to play. Until the sun peeked out of the horizon. He dug a grave and placed Itachi's body in it. A note fell out of Itachi's pocket and Sasuke held it to the light as he read it.
"I love you."
End.
This was supposed to be a nice sad one shot. It is a little weird, but oh well. I was pleased at the ending.
