"I can't believe I'm actually early today." A brown, spiky haired male sighed as he turned his gaze towards the window. His beautiful brown eyes looking at nothing in particular. The boy was wearing the standard uniform of Namimori Middle School, albeit they looked a little bit ruffled.

'Maybe running to school wasn't such a good idea' The brunet sweatdropped as he let his head fall on his desk.

"Then again, this is better than being pushed around because I'm Dame-Tsuna." The brunet mumbled as his eyes hardened at the thought of his schoolmates' taunts and abuse but they soon softened as he let out a sigh.

'I don't have the right to complain, though. In the end, I'm just Sawada Tsunayoshi or better known as Dame-Tsuna, right? And that- that makes me nothing.'

Flashback

"Tsuna, me and mama are going on a trip!" Iemitsu exclaimed as he gave his son a big, wide smile.

"A- a trip? T-then, papa, you better take care of mama." Tsuna looked at his father strictly or as strictly as he could, as he was suddenly engulfed in a big bear hug by his very excited father.

"Tu-TUNA-FISH, YOU'RE SO CUTE!"

"Ah, papa, you're crushing Tsu-kun." Nana giggled out as she looked at the adorable sight in front of her.

"Oh, sorry there, Tsuna." Iemitsu looked at the child sheepishly as he let go of his son, ruffling the young one's hair in the process.

"When will you come back?" Tsuna asked like the innocent child he was as he looked at the two curiously. He tilted his head as he thought about how long he'll be separated from his parents.

"We'll come back as soon as we can, Tsu-kun." Nana answered smiling at her son.

"Okay!" Tsuna nodded as he returned the smile with his own.

"We love you, Tsu-kun~" Nana said in a sing-song tone, her voice filled with happiness.

"I love you too, mama and papa." Tsuna replied.

5 days had passed since Tsuna's parents left for their trip. Before, he spent his days with his mother, helping her around the house during the mornings and afternoons while during the evenings, he spent it with his father, playing as well as relaxing with the older man. That was before they went for their trip because now, he spent his days with a quite absent babysitter (who was rarely with him at the house), waiting for his parents to come home and shower him with their love and attention.

Tsunayoshi was about to sit down in front of the television when he heard the doorbell ring. He stood up and wondered if it was Hina, his babysitter but he had a feeling it wasn't her.

'Who could that be?' He thought as he walked to the door cautiously. Each step towards the door filled him with nervousness for some reason and that bothered the boy to no end. Finally, Tsuna found the courage to open the door and face the stranger in front of it.

"Excuse me but why are you here?" Tsuna asked curiously, not embarassed at all that he was still in his cute blue pajamas that had bears as its print. After all, this was his home. He looked at the boy that had long raven colored hair that seemed to be braided and he also wore a red garb.

"I'm here to come and get you." The boy informed Tsuna as he stared at the brunet with a soft look on his face.

"Why?" Tsuna questioned as he tilted his head in confusion making the other boy blush a little at the cuteness.

'I don't think I know him...'

"So, you haven't heard about it?" The boy murmured but Tsuna heard what he had said making him curious.

"Heard about what?" Tsuna looked at the black haired boy closely and he could see various emotions flash in the eyes of the boy. There was a long pause, silenece being the only thing they could hear as the other boy didn't know how to proceed. After thinking for a bit, he opened his mouth and let his words escape.

"I'm truly sorry for your loss." The boy told Tsuna, his voice and eyes filled with sadness.

"Loss?" Tsuna echoed in confusion. Loss? What could he have lost? He was here guarding the house the whole time!

"I'm sorry to say this but your mother and father's plane crashed due to the engines failing and-." The boy paused before he decided to continue with his thoughts.

"They didn't survive the crash."

'Didn't survive the crash? Theyn, mama and papa are dead?' Tsuna thought as tears threatened to fall from his eyes.

"Please don't cry." The boy pleaded because he didn't know what to do in situations like these. Ah, if only he didn't volunteer to do this. Tsuna did his best to control his emotions seeing as the boy in front of him looked uncomfortable at the sight of his tears.

"So, wh-why are you here?" Tsuna sniffled as tears fell down yet no wails came out. He bit his lips as he felt his control on himself slipping from his grasp.

"My sister knew your mother and she wanted you to live with us from now on." The boy explained as he patted Tsuna on his back, silently giving the brunet comfort and support

"I don't wanna leave our house!" Tsuna wailed as he clung to the door so that he won't fall from the way his body was trembling.

"Please come live with us because if you don't you-you might die or get sent to the orphanage!" The black haired boy pleaded. He just couldn't see the boy living on his own, depressed and alone.

'I don't want to leave our house but...I don't want to die either...' Tsuna frowned, his tears sliding down his cheeks and falling to the ground.

"I-I-I'll go." Tsuna agreed after a minute or two of thinking but he just kept looking at the ground. He didn't want to see the look of pity on the other boy. He wanted, no, he needed to be strong. There was a moment of silence but it was soon broken by the other boy.

"Would you like me to help you pack?"

"Ah, yes. Thank you." Tsuna let the boy in and closed the door quietly.

"I'm Fon." The boy introduced himself with a smile on his face.

"Sa-Sawada Tsunayoshi." Tsuna introduced himself as well but without the smile. He had this blank look on his face and it seemed as if he was in deep thought, not that the boy, Fon, minded.

After packing, they headed for a car that was parked in front of the house. It seemed that Fon had went to the brunet's house with a driver, contrary to Tsuna's earlier thoughts. The car ride was silent as neither wanted to talk, both being absorbed by their thoughts. When Fon saw Tsuna shed a tear or two though, he wrapped an arm around Tsuna's shoulder and placed his hand on top of the other's hair. He played with it and admired the softness of the spiky locks.

'Wha-' Tsuna was stiff in the boy's hold at first but soon, he found himself relaxing. A small smile was on his lips as he closed his eyes at the ministrations of Fon.

'Mama, papa, I miss you.' That was his last thought as he slowly fell asleep. When Tsuna opened his eyes, they were at a large house which was definitely larger and wider than his old house. The house looked beautiful with the color white for the body of the house while dark gray was the color of the roof. The area around the house had gardens filled with all kinds of flowers and that definitely didn't fail to amaze Tsuna.

'Waaah, this house has 2 floors and it's so wide!' Tsuna had this look of amazement which Fon found cute. He let out a small chuckle as he ruffled Tsuna's hair.

"We're here." Fon informed the brunet, well, not that he needed to. They exited the car and had made their way to the front door. Tsuna just remained silent while Fon rang the doorbell when suddenly, the door was pulled open to reveal a young lady at the age of 16. She had short, dark blue, which sometimes looked a bit green, hair and she had worn a long, white dress. A smile graced her lips as she saw the two young boys in front of her.

"Tsunayoshi-kun, Fon, please do come in." The young lady ushered the two boys to come in the house.

"Luce-nee?" Tsuna asked as he looked at the lady, puzzled. Why was Luce-nee in this house? Unless, she-

"Yes, it's me." The young lady, Luce affirmed as she gave Tsuna a hug. The brunet hugged the woman back, pleased to know that he knew someone in this new environment.

"You have brothers and sisters?" Tsuna questioned after Luce let him go. He looked at her and then at Fon who was standing next to her with confusion.

'They don't look alike, though.'

"Yeah, I do and they're the same age as you are." Luce said happily as she clapped her hands. She ruffled the boy's hair and gave him another smile.

"That's great, I guess?" Tsuna shrugged, eyes wandering around the room as they went deeper inside the house.

"They're all in the living room so let's go. Are you ready?" Luce asked, taking ahold of Tsuna's hand and squeezing it in reassurance.

"Y-yes." Tsuna answered meekly but he looked at Luce since she hasn't made a move for the door handle yet. He also looked around the room for Fon but he was nowhere to be seen.

"I hope we can help you and be your family, Tsunayoshi-kun." Luce whispered so that only Tsuna could hear while Tsuna just smiled at her, a small yet sincere smile.

"You already are."
