Prologue

In the beginning of time, an Alchemist attempted Human Transmutation. Prior to this man, no one had tried to bring back the dead so the taboo has yet to be conceived. In front of a large crowd, the man drew the circle and became the first Human to travel to Truth's Gate. The Truth appeared to him as a burning star and asked the following:

"What are willing to give up in exchange for this soul?"

"Where am I?" the man asked. The Strange Being sighed.

"You are at your Gate. I am the governing force of this place, for you entered my world, God's World. You have attempted to bring back a soul from the Afterlife. What are you willing to exchange for that soul?" it asked.

"I didn't know there was a price! This is an absolute outrage! And God never looked like a star!" the pompous and stupid Alchemist exclaimed. The Truth then decided to teach the moronic man a lesson. Suddenly, the cries of the man were silenced as his tongue disappeared from his face, leaving a seamless patch of skin.

"For your arrogance, I take away your tongue. No longer will you be able to question things that should not be questioned. Now leave me!" it commanded. The Man returned to the crowd who screamed in terror at the Tongue-Less Alchemist. Back in the Truth's world, the God contemplated the Man he banished. Within that moment, he decided that Humankind were like ants, extremely annoying yet so fun to mess around with. And so, he came up with a mirror. On the mirror, he inscribed a transmutation circle. Then the Truth simply let it vanish into the world of Mankind.

The Mirror would wreak havoc.

This is the beginning and hopefully, it will continue. It's always been a story in my head but it took a long conversation with a friend to get down on paper. You know who you are and thanks.
