Control

After the death of their parents, the Maximoff twins didn't hesitate to join Hydra's program. But Wanda was definitely regretting it now.

She didn't like being a lab rat. Neither did she like seeing them test Pietro. He didn't like it either, nor did he enjoy watching it happen to her.

So, after putting aside their differences, they join Tony-freakin-Stark's team of, Avengers, they called themselves. Aside from the creation of Vision (can't have the dark without a little light, and Vision saved her life even though she didn't ask, and he's overall a nice guy) Wanda would call this both the worst day of her life, and a day in hell.

First, a zombie apocalypse of Ultron bots. Then this.

She screamed. Wanda screamed and fell to her knees, screaming. She didn't care how she lost control of her powers. She knew it was a one time thing.

Her brother was dead. Pietro was dead. Out of her life. Her life was over. She lost the only person who ever mattered.

She knew right then: Ultron was going to die.

So when she walked to the robot, splayed out in the carnage, she ripped out his heart, just like how he ripped out hers. "That's what it feels like."

And all the kids cried out 'please stop you're scaring me.' I can't help this awful energy. God damn right you should be scared of me. Who is in control?

Wanda knew who would be. But she didn't know who was. Right now, all she knew was that it wasn't her.

Wanda thought back to that day as she was laying on the ground, breathing heavily. The last thing she wanted was Vision to die. He was the only thing she really had left in her life. So she talked to Strange, and they made a deal.

Wanda watched, helplessly, as Thanos snapped his fingers. Watched as Thanos sent earth into a spiraling doom filled with chaos and agony and grief.

She watched Tony hold a dying Peter Parker in his arms.

Steve come to the realization that Barnes was leaving again.

Feeling guilt, because Wilson wanted to leave all this, and now the decision has been made for him.

Groot call Rocket dad for the first and final time.

Guilt slowly consume Thor, him believing it was his fault, even though it wasn't.

Anger at himself soon took over as he remembered the death of Heimdall and Loki.

How Thor realized that he lost all that's left of Asgard, all those close to him, aside from Bruce and Brunnhilde.

Shuri nite her lip, trying to stay strong. Hoping to calm her brother.

Hoping her brother doesn't die, hating himself for causing guilt that was no one's fault but the Titan who ruined the lives of, well, everyone.

She saw Strange apologize to Vision - who miraculously made it this far in the war - before fading away himself.

She felt the grief and loss of all those close to her, as she's sure Mantis did as she also faded away.

After all, that's what telepaths do, right?

Vision ran to her, holding her against his chest. She felt her legs slowly turn to dust, saw her fading before her very eyes.

As she looked into Vision's eyes, filled with agony and acceptance, she smiled. He smiled back.

Thanks to Strange, she was going to - hopefully - heaven, a nice after life where she can be reunited with someone very special.

She soon woke up, seeing everyone here.

Seeing Bucky trying to keep a panicking Parker calm, and Sam trying not to laugh, and maybe actually support the kid. But he'll deny that to to anyone in the afterlife who'd ask.

Drax, Groot, Gamora, Mantis and Quill all hanging out, like teams should (versus causing civil wars when just being honest would make life so much easier, I mean come on)

Loki and Heimdall actually getting along.

T'Challa and Strange chatted for a bit before leaving to deal with the kid.

She's not sure when they died, but she sees Nick Fury and Marian Hill talking while observing everyone.

She wonders why Phil Coulson isn't there, but then she feels a breeze, sees blue and silver in the wind, and all the sudden doesn't care.

Because she found her twin. That lost part of her soul. She sees Pietro, standing near the people, waving for her excitedly even jumping up and down, screaming her name.

As she ran to Pietro, both holding each other in a tight embrace, crying over the lost time, Wanda thought back to the day he died, and took a part of her soul with her.

She thought back to the song Natasha was so insistent on having her listen to.

And all the kids cried out 'please stop you're scaring me.' I can't help this awful energy. God damn right you should be scared of me. Who is in control?

This time, Wanda can say that she is.

She gained control.

If you haven't already guessed, I added a lot to this. It's also AU to Infinity Wars; the spoilers I've seen were the deaths. I made Vision live

Also if this isn't canonly accurate (aside from Vision living because that was intentional) I still haven't seen Infinity Wars (pre-ordered it tho) and I can't remember anything of Age of Ultron, nor do I own the DVD and it's not on On Demand either (because being honest I'm new to Marvel and all the movies I've seen were basically TV) so I'm just goin off of memory, but I always do that so yea… crap this was long again sorry
