OOC characters, but I tried my damnedest to stay in character, I really did!

"Come on, Doc, just a little doze!"

"No, Jack, I'm not taking a nap!"

"You sound like you should take one."

"And I'm telling you no."

Jack huffed out a sigh. The Doctor was refusing to sleep. Even worse, it was the fifth time that day. The Time Lord looked ready to fall over in a heap of limbs and hair. Jack, being the sensible guy he was, wanted to try and avoid that from happening, but nooooo.

"Doctor, please take a short nap! I promise I'll wake you if there's any trouble," Jack pleaded. The 903-year-old Time Lord glowered at Jack with a firm shake of his head. "You're acting like a child!"

"Well, in terms of Time Lords, you can say I'm actually really young," the Doctor replied while sticking his tongue out.

His body swayed, but he held himself up against the TARDIS railing. Jack sighed sadly and walked up to the Doctor. His body was shaking, his eyes had dark circles underneath, and he was sweating.

"Bed, now," Jack growled out. If asking nicely won't work, then he'd have to get more demanding with his questions.

"Jack, no," the Doctor spat out in the same tone. Oh, two could play that game.

"Doctor, I'm asking you to go to your bed. Don't make me have to make it an order."

"Remind me who the captain of this vessel is?"

"I don't give a damn! You're going to take a little rest of the eyes! I don't care what you want to call it, but you're going to do it!"

"No!"

"Doctor!"

"Jack!"

The Doctor was breathing heavily, his chest heaving up and down. Jack's eyes were wide in fear and anger. The Doctor's hands were shaking in front of his coat pockets. The ex-time agent could tell the Time Lord was doing his best to keep his composure, but it was becoming increasingly difficult to do so as his consciousness was beginning to slip.

Suddenly, the Doctor looked Jack in the eyes and Jack understood. He walked up to the (much) older man and helped walk him to his bedroom. Jack tucked the Doctor in the TARDIS blue sheets and kissed his temple.

"Good night, Doc," Jack whispered before closing the door.

~!~

Many hours later, the Doctor walked into the living room, his hair sticking up in every direction possible and his clothes rumpled. Jack noticed that the deep purple circled under the Doctor's eyes had disappeared to a light lavender (he wasn't happy that the circles were still there in the first place, but it was a vast improvement).

"Ah, Doctor!" Jack said in a chipper tone. "Feeling any better?"

The Doctor grunted in response and sat next to Jack on the couch. He curled up next to the ex-time agent and huddled closer.

"Doc?"

"I'm still tired," the Doctor slurred.

"How did you wake up then?"

"My biology sucks."

Jack barked out a laugh.

"You just got lonely and wanted to snuggle," Jack teased. His grin got wider as the Doctor began to flush red.

"Shuddup."

"Admit it, it's true."

"Mmmhmm."

Jack chuckled when the Doctor placed his head on his left shoulder and nuzzled his neck. He let out a couple puffs of air and he was out like a light.

"Ah, what the hell," Jack said and placed his head on top of the Doctor's. "A nap wouldn't hurt."

If anyone asked what they did later on upon seeing how rumpled their clothes and hair were, they'd cover it up by having the Doctor blush while Jack winking suggestively.

Ooo, more fluffiness! Who else likes this trend?
