A/N: This is just short, but I'm yet to finish this by the moment. . . I'll post it's continuation soon. Well, I just want Harry and Snape to be a bit, er, "okay" with each other. I think Snape's loyalty deserves some credit. And somehow it makes me uneasy that Harry and Snape didn't make up in the end. This happened a week after the Battle of Hogwarts.

THE PREVIOUS HEADMASTER

Harry stood in front of the stone gargoyle, his Quidditch robes billowing in the misty air hovering above.

"Go on, Harry," Hermione urged him.

Harry glanced back at Ron and Hermione who were both huddled together. A few gashes and wounds were still etched vaguely on their faces, but Madam Pomfrey had told them that everything would vanish soon enough.

"Let's go," said Ron, at which Harry nodded, reverting his attention back to the statue.

"Password?" asked the gargoyle.

"Dumbledore?" Harry replied uncertainly. He wasn't sure whether the password had been changed already.

The stone statue did not budge.

"Right," muttered Harry. "I have to meet with the headmaster—er, the previous headmaster, I mean," he added. "I don't know what the new password is, but this is something important. You allowed me entrance last week. I'm Harry Potter—"

The gargoyle moved, allowing them a path to enter.

Harry blinked.

Hermione gasped. "Harry! They changed the password to your name!"

"Blimey, Harry!" said Ron in awe.

Harry grinned in spite of himself. "Come on," he told the two, ushering them inside.
