Ladybird
Finally back after 2 years of hibernation! Haha xD Once again, this story is an one-shot, and very short. Well if I did write long stories it will never be published.
Possibly Crack. I feel a bit disgusted at the mushiness in the beginning though. I wrote this a long time ago, just typing it now… Extreme OOCness but it's expected of Snape Harry Gen. Can be seen as a sequel of 'Do you love me?'… Or not. First person, from Snape's point of view, because I find first person more informal, usually.
This is just a prank I did to my family… Years ago. And I wrote this years ago. I apologize if the language is too… childish.
Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter.
"Hey Dad!" I look up from his book at my adopted son and feel the sheer amount of emotions I always feel when I hear the word 'dad' coming from his mouth. The warm feeling in my heart can just brighten my whole day up.
"Yes, Harry? May I help you?"
We are having our first summer together at Spinner's End and Harry seems to like it here, though I find it a tad shabby.
"Well, I found a ladybird outside!"
"Oh!" I shrieked. No wait, I did not justshriek like a girl. Okay, maybe I did. Well… I do have a weird phobia of ladybirds, for whatever reasons unknown. Phobias do not need a reason, right?
Those hideous… creatures with their red bodies and black spots; I've never seen anything more hideous!
Just as long as I don't see them, it's fine I suppose. I'm also okay with them being potion ingredients, although I always inwardly cringe when I need to deal with them, which is thankfully, pretty rare.
Harry opens his mouth again. "And Dad? I killed it, so no worries." Harry smiles innocently, and I let out a sigh of relief.
"Thank Merlin! Harry, next time—"
"Yeah?" Then he swipes his hand over my arm as I freeze in fear.
"Ah!" I scream so loud that maybe even the neighbors can hear. So much for not fearing dead ladybirds! (Or non-existent ones, for that matter. But it's a phobia, a phobia!) I am so not alright now. I've never expected that, you traitor! To prank your own father…
I have almost regretted to have adopted him. Almost.
"Haha! Happy April Fools', Dad!" Harry starts to roll on the floor, laughing until his face turns red, and one can see tears rolling down his cheek.
Such manners.
I sit straighter and quickly regain my composure. "This is not funny, young man! And not April Fools', either! I'll ground you until next year! Just you wait!"
A groan escapes Harry. "Aww… Dad…"
Not so gleeful now, are we?
I smirked evilly.

A/N: Um this may be my last Snape and Harry fanfiction. Sorry… Not exactly very good but it's crack, so I guess it doesn't really matter? Heh.
Ah Harry has the Marauders' streak in him doesn't he? xD Maybe Severus will prank him back haha :D And a ladybird is just a random insect, no offence to ladybird lovers.
