Hello all! I know I have other fics undone and I'm working on it.. Kinda… :D But this just popped up into my mind one day at school and I just had to write it. Hope u guys like it! Please R&R.
'Where is he? He should have come back home ages ago!' thought a very worried Remus Lupin as he paced back in forth in the living room. Growling deep in his throat he looked out of the window. No-one. The snow on the front porch shimmered from the last rays of the setting sun, untouched.
His frustration growing he strode away from the window to the other end of the living room, then back to the window again. "Aargh! He said he'd come back early and he is late! Where the hell is he?" His nerves were starting to catch up with him and he banged his fist into the wall. Enjoying the small distraction the stinging his hand gave him, he sat down onto the big dark red couch next to the fire place.
Tacking a few deep breathes he forced himself to calm down. 'He wouldn't like you like this Remus, calm yourself down for goodness sake! But what if something has happened to him? He's fine, he's just a little late, you know how he is with his timing… But what if he really is in danger, I should go find him. Don't! You know how nervous he'll be if he comes home and you're not here.'
"Fine!" he said out loud throwing his hands up in the air. Standing up he strode to the kitchen, made himself a cup of tea and then went back to sit on the couch.
After taking a few sips he started to relax as the tea warmed him up. Staring into the blazing fire his thoughts started to wander. Them walking in the park, going to the movies and laughing together. The memories made him swell happily inside. "I'm the luckiest man alive." he whispered so silently you could hardly here it.
"Why so?" said a young voice softly behind him. "You're late Harry." Remus muttered as small but muscular hands wrapped around his middle. "I'm sorry love, it took us longer than expected to hunt down the bastard. And then I had to go back the office to finish off the paperwork." Remus grunted faintly as he breathed in the intoxicating smell of his lover. Harry left butterfly kisses all around Remus' neck, making him shiver.
"But why are you the luckiest man in the world Remy? I want to know?" the raven whispered shyly into the others ear. "Because I have you." he answered, turning to capture his lovers pouting lips with his own. Breaking the kiss Harry replied: "I believe no-one can be luckier than me Remy, so you must be lying. I have you and I love you so bad I can't believe it is even possible! "And I love you, more than anything in this world. I'd die for you." Remus said with a faint smile. "Don't say things like that Remus!" Harry said, hugging Remus tightly and looking him straight in the eye. The raven captured the others lips for a passionate kiss, from which they didn't part until air became desperately necessary.
Snuggling into each other they stared into the fire. Remus could feel his lovers breathe start to even out and he whispers into his ear: "I love you Harry." "And I love you Remus." came the sleepy reply from his love.
Hope you liked it! And sorry for mistakes, I tried my best to check it but I know it's not perfect. I'd appreciate it a lot if you'd tell me any mistake that you see so that I can fix it.
And yeah, Harry is an auror. :D And he lives together with Remus and they love each other and they are like the sweetest thing ever and and… okay I'll shut up! :P
