Chapter One: Is This Someone We're Looking For?
"Betcha you can't beat me Cyborg!" Said the usual grating voice of Beastboy.
It was a typical day for the Titans, not to mention a very Boring one to Begin with. Cyborg and Beastboy were still lost in their video game fights, Raven just watched in a not-so-enthusiastic way, and Starfire and Robin were just talking about things. Nothing seemed to go wrong for them today...well not yet.
"You thought wrong BB!" Cyborg said, grinning as he passed Beastboy's car. "You can't pass me, You can't pass me, You can't-YOU PASSED ME!" He said in a voice that seemed mad and surprised at the same time.
"HA! Boohya! I win AGAIN! Take that Cy!" Said Beastboy, jumping up and doing a little victory dance while Cyborg glared. "What's my prize now?"
Raven just watched and shook her head. "Yeah..You win the prize of annoyance." She told him in her usual low, sarcastic voice.
Beast boy just glared at her for a moment as he sat down.They were like that...A lot. But today wasn't all fun and games for the titans. They'd soon face the most challenging thing the Titans have ever done. Everyone stopped as they heard their alarm go off.
"Slade..." Robin muttered and glared. He looked up at the others. "Titans! Go!" He yelled as they all got out of the Titans Tower.
But the trouble wasn't outside of the Tower, it was inside. The trouble was a girl who just smirked as she ran over to the living room of the tower, searching for clues.
"Where is it?!" The girl shouted to herself frantically and frustratingly as she threw the pillows on the couch back and searching the whole room. The girl had long brown hair that reached down to her waist and sea foam colored eyes. She wore a dark red armoured uniform as to being on that horrible person's side.
"Go Try Robin's room." Said a voice in her ear phone. The voice was not plesant to here at all, but maybe to that girl it was. The voice only belong to the terrible Slade. Yes, this girl seemed like she was working for Slade, but maybe she wasn't. But it sure as heck looked like it.
"Roger." The girl replied back to Slade as she ran into the hallway. She nearly trashed every single room as she desperatly searched for what they were looking for: The Malisos Ruby. She finally got to a room where it was full of punching bags and maybe a few things about Slade.
"You're in there." Slade said, in his lair smirking as he watched the girl trash the room.
"Bingo.." The girl said as she smirked and looked up at the Malisos Ruby. "It's a Beauty.." She muttered as she tried to run out. And as sneaky as she got in, she was as sneaky to get out.
The Titans came home after being dead confused about the warning. Robin thought maybe it was just a false alarm, but since Cyborg made it it was perfect and couldn't have been a false alarm. Starfire suggested maybe it was dying out and old, but Cyborg denied that as well. Shows you how stubborn Cyborg could be with his inventions.
"Hey! My room!" Cyborg cried, gaping at the horrific scene. "My room is completely messy."
"Some one...has been...in my room.....NO ONE...is allowed in my room.." Raven said angrily as she stepped in. She looked around, her eyes going wide as she saw her most valuble book on the floor.
"Whoever this person was....." Robin told them, "We'll be ready for their next attack."
