Will was standing, leaning on the edge of the boat. His heart was broken. He had seen them, Elizabeth and Jack. He felt like he was losing her again, for the second time. That was too hard for him to bear. He thought back to the past adventures he'd had with Captain Jack Sparrow. First they had been a team. They had been partners. Now they seemed like neither. Jack was a pirate, always taking the easy way out. Now Elizabeth was falling for him.

They were returning home. The sky was dark. Will turned around and saw Elizabeth with her face in her hands, sitting on a step of the ship. Her blonde, wavy locks of hair blew around her face. She was thinking of Jack...or so he thought...

"Persuade me," he had said. She had persuaded him alright. She had done something she would never forgive herself for. Elizabeth had kissed him, one intense but passionate kiss, just enough to persuade him. She wanted to kill herself for it. She knew Will had saw. He had not spoken more than two words to her.

"Where's Jack?" his bitter voice had asked her. It played over and over in her head. It bothered her. Will loved her. And she loved him, ever since the day she had spotted him laying upon a board in the water. It was love at first sight. She still loved him. Only he didn't know that. And he needed that knowledge. She walked up to him. His face was tired, with pain twisted in with the love he had for her. She tried to open her mouth to speak, but couldn't. Instead she just fell upon him, wrapping her arms around his neck, letting him catch her...

Will held Elizabeth in his arms. He let her lean on him for a while, until she picked herself up and stared into his eyes. She looked so beautiful, standing with the wind gently blowing in her face. She opened her mouth to speak. "I love you," she said quietly.

His heart lifted. "I thought you loved Jack," Will said.

"You don't understand, I had to chain him to the boat so we could be saved. It was him the monster was after, not the boat. I wanted us to be safe, so we could be together, forever," Elizabeth explained, tears welling in her eyes.

Will stroked her cheek gently. "I am sorry," she whispered. Rain drops matched her tears. They wrapped their arms around each other. He kissed her sweetly on the cheek. She kissed him back, full on the lips for what seemed like forever. He thought she was never going to stop. And he didn't want her to.
