It was a lovely night.. stars shining all over the sky, the sight could heal the broken heart. Heal the wounds of a warrior. Any warrior other than kenshin. He sat alone under the sakura tree, gazing at the stars. All he could feel is fear, the fear of having to kill an innocent person. The comfort he felt at the dojo scared him, all of them are so kind it would be unfair if anything happened to them.. anything happened to kaoru .

Kaoru..

Is she the lost dream? the lost hope? She is so tender and sweet that his silence, his aloofness towards her kills him. She deserves so much better. Faith brought them together, but are they meant to be together . the answers are unknown to him. Happiness is so far away from him, further from these stars. Will the guilt ever go away..

"Kaoru" he whispers her name and closes his eyes.. he sees her face and couldn't help but smile. Time passed too fast he was surprised to see the sun rising announcing the beginning of a new day. He wished he could rise like the sun, forgetting yesterday's darkness and just thinking about the future. He can't and will forever be tortured by his past.

"kenshin?" her voice was so soft, so sweet, so full of worry. He turned his face to look at, and was she a sight for a sore eye. "kenshin.. have u been here all night?"

"yes, but don't worry kaoru-dono, I can still do all the chores" he said with a smile. She smiled but her smile was so sad. "thers's always sadness in your voice, kenshin, always pain"

silence.. all she ever gets from him is silence. Why does he shut her out? If he just let her in talk to her maybe she would understand.

"I adore this sakura tree u know, all I feel is comfort when I am sitting her" she says trying to break the

he picks a flower and gave to her "for you kaoru-dono." The smile on her face was priceless .. "some things cannot be said but only felt kaoru-dono"

"I need to hear to believe kenshin"
