A oneshot on what happens when what you don't want is more than what you want. Hermione and Draco.

LOVE HURTS

Draco was pleased by the fact that he was able to make it up to her apartment, before taking hold of Hermione's arm and spinning her toward him.

"What - ?" she demanded, raising her eyelashes and looking up at him in astonishment. But before she could utter another sound, Draco brought his lips down over hers.

He felt her body tense, but when she tried to back away from him, she came up against the kitchen table and simultaneously, Draco's arms went around her, half lifting her off the ground.

Hermione let out a moan of protest that was quickly stifled by his mouth. A second after his mouth met hers, her head fell back against his arm, and her lips opened. He felt her relax against him, her hands, which previously had been trying to push him away, suddenly going around his neck to press him closer.

It wasn't until he felt her tongue flick tentatively against his that he lost his careful control. Suddenly, he was kissing her even more urgently, his hands travelling down her sides, taking hold of her hips and pulling her closer.

It was then that it struck Hermione that perhaps she was not in much control of this situation as she would have liked. She had to stop him.

She could feel his gentle fingers caress her through the thin material of her shirt, and she realised they were moving too fast.

Tearing her mouth away from his and placing a restraining hand against his chest, Hermione brought accusing eyes to his face as her right hand met his face in a tight slap.

"Leave" she whispered.

Draco lifted his head, his expression dazed; he blinked down at the girl in his hands.

Letting go of her, Draco turned to the door, sneaking a look back. She hadn't moved from where he had left her, her back towards him.

Sighing he placed his hand on the knob, wrenching it open.

When the door closed and the bolt slid back into place, Hermione fell to her knees, her grief overpowering her and a myriad of tears falling down her cheeks.

This is the end of the story, didn't want it to be too long. Hoped you liked it, please review.
