She woke up slowly, her eyes blurred from sleep. Looking around she discovered she was in a dark void. Beginning to panic, the girl thought she was going to fall and closed her eyes tightly, after a few moments she opened her eyes again. The girl realized that she wasn't falling, instead she was floating. She spoke in a small timid voice laced with confusion.
"Where...where am I?"
To her surprise, someone, or something, answered her question.
"What do you desire?"
The voice sounded like a mans, rich and smooth, like black silk.
"Huh? Wh-who said that?"
The girl looked around the void, fear starting to grip her heart. The voice spoke again, with a note of amusement.
"What is it that you want most in this life?"
The girl stayed silent until she was turned around by a pair of hands, as she was turned she let out a startled shriek. The one who turned her around was a man, a very good looking man to be precise.
"Who...who are you?"
The girl's voice shook as she spoke which caused the man to smile and chuckle, taking great amusement in her fear and shock.
"I can give it to you..."
The man continued speaking and it was then that the girl noticed he was ice cold.
"I don't understand..."
She tried to get away from the man but he had a tight grip on her shoulders. The girl began to tremble as she felt a dark and mysterious power coming from the man and start to wrap around her mind and control it, bending it to his will.
"I can give you the means achieve anything you could ever want...have everything your soul desires..."
The man looked into the girls eyes and she began to feel her will slipping, the power the man was emitting was seductive and dark. "I...I...I don't know..."
The strange man only smirked and continued to speak, drawing the trembling girl into his arms.
"Embrace the dark, accept the cold touch. Do this, submit to me, and what you crave shall be yours..."
A haze began to settle over the girls eyes. "This..I...don't..understand...but..."
Closing her eyes she nodded, giving herself to the man and his darkness. The man grinned evilly and let her go. She fell into the darkness...
