"ETERNAL LOVE"
This is chapter one of this fic. I wrote this fic. Falling Fire wrote chapter two. Chapter two will be under the name falling fire. We do not own any of the characters in this fic.
CHAPTER ONE:
Kenshin could never forgive his past. It weighs on him day after day. Will he over come it? Even in death I do not think his soul will be at peace. For the blood of many that are dead are on his scared hands. But a great man is not made by how many kills you have. Or by the battles won. It does not matter if you have for money then knowledge. A man is known and is great for what he does with his knowledge, money, power and skill. This is something I have been trying to get into Yahiko`s head for some time now. He wants to be so much like Kenshin. But he can never be. To be like Kenshin, Yahiko would have to carry everything that comes with the hatred of ones self. Because of everything he did in the revolution is still carried with him everyday. To know that you helped those who are in power now must be a terriable thing. To know you paved a path for those curupt people to be in government now. It does not always put his mind at ease. I will never know this. He killed his own wife. A person he loved and chersished. How can he ever love again? I don`t think he can? Can`t he see i`m right in front of him. I can love him. I might not be Tomoe but I still could love him. My heart goes out to him. I do not want to take the place of her. I just wish for you to love me just a little bit as I love you. But you never will. Because you can never find peace. That is why I am going to give up on his heart of love, but never that of a friend.
