Bitter taste
The bells on the door rang as Mai opened the office door she knew that considering the time Naru knew that she was here. He was always able to predict her moves. Mai though had to let him know that she was in so she could get her paycheck. Opening his office door she smiled. She let him know that she was here then he waving her off. Catching his word of "Tea" before she completely shut the door Mai made her way to the kitchen. She started the pot of boiling water just looking at the earl gray tea leaves. Taking the now whistling pot she poured the hot water in the strainer with the leaves into a cup.
She was now wondering why Naru loved his tea so much. Picking up the cup she took a sip of the tea. Mai eyes widen in distaste. Earl Gray was absolutely horrid. Holding her throat if is she had been poisoned she tried quickly to find something. Anything. That would help remove the awful taste in her mouth. Finding nothing, Mai stuck her mouth under the faucet and turned it on. Unbeknownst her she turned to hot and now her tongue was burning. She moved her mouth away from the sink and started crying.
A Chuckle was heard from behind her, turning she saw Naru in all his handsome glory. His arm was rest against the wall. He looked like he had been watching there for a while. A bright red blush appeared on her face and she knew that he would never let this go, ever. Naru moved quickly to get Mai a cool glass of water and himself his tea.
"I didn't think you could handle the flavor of Earl Gray tea." He smirked at her. "It's for refined people."
He walked away leave a very steamed Mai in the kitchen.
