She's nineteen and she's smiling in a way she won't ever again but she doesn't know that yet. She laughs in the face of danger and dances with death and blows a kiss at chance because she's that girl with many names and many more lives ahead of her. She's lived for so long and will do for so much longer, until the stars die and the sun bows down behind her, which it will because everything does eventually.

He has the same face as the man before him, as did he, as did he. They look the same but never are because she chooses carefully – Nik taught her well and she did him proud, she really did. The eyes are never green and the hair is never brown and they never smile but smirk instead because she's always so incredibly careful – they can't look like him. She chooses blonds instead, even a few gingers because if she isn't careful she might start to see him in their eyes.
