A/N - Just a short one shot featuring Scaramouche and Galileo with a short appearance from Aboria. Rated for theme. R&R greatly appreaciated.

Disclaimer: Yeah, plainly and simply I don't own any of this...what else is new?

Galileo lay alone in bed, anxiously waiting for Scaramouche to return. The bad-assed babe had gone to the bar with Aboria to grab a few drinks after a stressful and hectic day at the Heartbreak Hotel. Scaramouche had promised Galileo she would be back no later than 11:30, and it was now after midnight and she had not returned. Despite her rough and sarcastic attitude, this was unusual behaviour for Scaramouche. Usually she stuck to her word and had a legitimate reason when she didn't. Worried, Galileo rose from his bed and crept to the rickety bedroom door. He opened it just a crack, and slipped from the room, mkaing a bee-line in the direction of the bar.

Galileo stepped through the doorway of the bar and what he saw caused a rush of emotions so strong that he wasn't sure whether to turn around and run back upstairs or stomp into the bar and scold Scaramouche. Galileo, however, did neither of these things. Insted, her just stood there, frozen in place, watching as Scaramouche and Aboria lock lips for the second time since he'd arrived.

Suddenly, Scaramouche caught sight of Galileo who was still standing in the doorway. She abruptly pulled away from Aboria, leaving her friend looking confused, as she stared at the love of her life, who had just caught her kissing one of her best friends.

"Hi Figgy," Scaramouche slurred akwardly, amking it nearly impossible yo understand her greeting. She just looked at GAlileo with a blank expression on her face.

"You're drunk, Scaramouche," Galileo announced flatly, putting a hand on her shoulder.

" I...was drink...ing?" Scaramouche muttered, a dazed look in her eyes.

Galileo groaned. Things could get pretty messy when Scaramouche was drunk, but nothing had ever been as bad as this."And you kissed Aboria," he added, slightly miffed.

Scaramouche just glared at him," It...was...a good...kiss. I lik...ed it." She put her hands on her hips defiantley, but it didn't do her any favours.

"Come on babe, time to hit the sack,' Galileo informed her, although he was not sure she'd heard him. After all, she was still glancing at Aboria, who now sat on her bar stool andf resting her head on the table. "Time to go, hun."
Galileo grabbed Scaramouche by the wrist, leading her in the direction of the bedrrom.

After slowly making their way to the stairs, Scaramouche looked up at Galileo.
"I...feel si..ck," she moaned, clutching her stomache.

"Go figure," Galileo mumbled under his breath, rolling his eyes as he prepaired himself for a long and sleepless night.
