Saeki Kojiroh's alarm clock had a death wish, definitely. It was the only probably explanation for it incessantly ringing currently now, at 4 in the morning.

Four pillows simultaneously flew across the room, three landing dangerously close, and one hitting the clock on its annoying face, despite it (being an animated clock – Saeki had always been one of a kind) making a mad dash to the right to avoid it. Fuji Yuuta had very good aim.

"Saeki, turn that damned thing off. Now!"

"Saeki, you're dead!"

"Go to hell, Saeki!"

"Don't forget to take your alarm clock with you!"

Saeki grinned and bounced off his bed, happily refreshed, ignoring his roommates' curses.

It did not matter to him what time it was; Saeki always woke up refreshed and hyper. It was one of the annoying things about him. That and his alarm clock.

A bedraggled Mizuki and Yuuta emerged blinking blearily at Saeki fro their various corners of the room. Separately, of course.

"I will keeeeell you, Saeki." Yuuta muttered, running a hair through his hair.

"I support you fully, Yuuta-kun." Mizuki snapped. Saeki turned to watch. Mizuki snapping was always amusing to watch.

"The problem remains, of how you will kill me." Saeki smirked. It was a well-known fact that the Fuji line was extremely skilled in slaying demons. Yuuta was an exception that proved that rule. It wasn't that he couldn't, but that he wouldn't kill.

It was generally treated a joke. Fuji Yuuta, of the legendary line of demon slayers, wouldn't hurt a fly. How would one kill a demon or one of the Demoning if one couldn't bear to hurt anything?

Even the lowest of the Slayers could slay small demons of little power. Yuuta was higher ranking than them…

Fuji Syuusuke was a living testimony to the power of the Fuji line.

He had a record of having slain hundreds of demons, and injuring many of the Demoning, the most famous being Kirihara Akaya, and Yukimura Seiichi, who, despite Yagyuu's best attempts to save him, was still frail.

Yuuta growled in annoyance.

Many thought his vicious side would emerge soon. Many treated him as a joke, or a coward. He wasn't, really. It was just that he had too much human blood, and too little Slayer.

"Yes, Yuuta-kun? Are you planning on making Saeki your first kill?" Mizuki purred, his eyes glinting. The rivalry between Saeki and Mizuki was obvious, especially when it came to Slaying, and Yuuta, whom the both regarded as they own personal property, nevermind that he was Fuji's turf.

Yuuta sighed, defeated, moving towards the bathroom to wash up.

Still groggy, and not fully realizing the impact of his words, he muttered, "I could always ask aniki. Aniki'll do anything I tell him to."

Which prompt shut Saeki and Mizuki up.
