Summary: The Potter kids and Teddy have a birthday surprise for Harry.

"Good Morning, Daddy!" yelled Harry Potter's children, James, who was nine, Albus, who was seven, and little Lily, who was five, and jumped onto their parent's bed.

"Thanks for the morning wake up," replied Harry Potter groggily, rubbing his eyes, "but, next time, let me sleep past 7 o'clock."

"Told you!" cried Teddy Lupin, he then sat on Harry's bed, too. "Told you we should let him sleep!"

"Yeah, and let me sleep, too," said a muffled, drowsy voice from under the covers of the bed.

"But Mummy, it's Daddy's birthday," replied Lily, climbing on top of her mother. "We have a surprise for him!"

"Both of you get dressed," said Albus. He, his siblings, and his god brother were dressed in public attire.

The four kids led Harry and Ginny through the house, but Ginny stopped them at the kitchen, well, what used to be the kitchen. The place was a mess; it was smeared with soot, it smelt like burnt food, the chairs were burned, and the roof had a hole in it. A big hole, too.

"What happened in here?" demanded Ginny, an edge to her voice that suggested that she was two seconds away from shouting.

"You'll see," replied James, either completely oblivious to tone of his mother's voice, or he had heard that voice so many times he was unfazed by it.

He led his parents, who were getting more and more reluctant to see what the surprise was, to the front yard.

"There," said the four children, pointing towards the sky. There, in smoke, was a message, 'Happy Birthday, Harry!'

"We wanted to do fireworks," said Teddy. "But we couldn't figure out how."

"Is that why the kitchen is a mess?" asked Ginny.

The four nodded in response.

"Whose idea was it to do the fireworks in the kitchen?" asked Ginny, looking at James like she already knew that answer.

The boy she was looking at grinned sheepishly, "Who else would?"

"JAMES SIRIUS POTTER! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU NO FIREWORKS IN THE HOUSE!"

"Oh no," said Albus, "she's on her rant again."

"In any second now she's going to turn to us, too," added Teddy.

"Except for Lily," said the two simultaneously.

"TED REMUS LUPIN AND ALBUS SEVERUS POTTER, HOW COULD YOU LET HIM! ALBUS YOU'RE OLD ENOUGH TO AT LEAST KNOW WHAT IS RIGHT AND WHAT IS WRONG! TED, YOU ARE FOURTEEN!"

While Ginny yelled at the three boys, Lily turned towards her dad, "Did you like the message we made for you, Daddy?"

Harry picked up the girl, "I loved it."

"Good," replied Lily, "because it doesn't go away for a week."

Since today is actually Harry's birthday, I decided to make a story about it. Hope you liked it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HARRY POTTER AND JOANNE ROWLING!
