As she was cooking breakfast for the kids, she looked outside and saw the bright red dawn. She thought about how it looked like it had the same shade of red as she did. Then she realized what day today was. Two years from now. She looked for the hat she had saved and resumed her cooking with fervor wanting to get it over with.
As the day wore on, she did the multitude of chores she had to do ,being that she had two little kids and no one else to help her, considering her past and how everyone feared her. She worked and worked until it became late noon, when she heard a cry from the town below her. She saw the ship they were scared about, big and hulking with a jolly roger on it. She cried and ran down to the docks to see if it was true. As soon as she saw the captain, she cried. With his big chest X scar as well as his scar under his left eye, she knew it was him.
He jumped down and took the hat from her head on placed on his while giving her peck on her lips, making her blush.
