That's The Truth

"You're listing to Love Trials and Revelations on WOSL. We have a new caller. You're on, what's your problem?" The announcer asked the caller.

"My best friends getting married tomorrow and I don't know if I should go to the wedding or not."

"Okay. Why shouldn't you go? You're not in love with his soon to be wife are you?"

"No. My best friend is the bride and I didn't realize that I was in love with her until today."

"I see. Tell me about you're friendship."

"Well she's a United States Marine and we work together at the office. We met in the most of romantic of spots, the White House Rose Garden. We've known each other for four years. We've helped each other through everything and I finally realized I loved her today when I realized that I was actually going to lose her."

"Listen... uh what should I call you?"

"Fly-boy. She gave me that name. Fly-boy and ninja-girl."

"Okay, Fly-boy. Who says you're going to lose her? She'll still be you're best friend, just she'll be married and who knows maybe one day you'll find a love of you're own."

"Yeah, you're right. Could you do me a favor?"

"Maybe."

"Play a song for me. That's the Truth from Fly-boy to Ninja-girl."

"Sure thing."

"I said I don't love you, and I ain't never been your fool
That's a lie, and that's the truth
And if it's over makes no difference if we're through
That's a lie, and that's the truth"

"I said go on, I'll e just fine
I won't fall apart, or go out of my mind
I said no one could break my heart
But you're living proof
That's a lie, and that's the truth"

"I don't mind the darkness alone in this room
That's a lie and that's the truth
I like bein' lonely, yeah, I ain't missin' you
That's a lie, and that's the truth"

"I said go on, I'll be just fine
I won't fall apart, or go out of my mind
I said no one could break my heart
But you're living proof
That's a lie, and that's the truth"

"And if you find somebody
Who says they love you more than I do
That's a lie, and that's the truth"

The woman known as Ninja-girl sat listing to the radio on the other side of town. Several tears rolled down her face as she listened to the song requested by Fly-boy. She had listened to his confession earlier and she had now made up her mind that she couldn't marry Kevin knowing that her Fly-boy loved her.
