"Lloyd, watch out!" Cole yelled as Lloyd took another wild swing through the air on his dragon. "You'll kill us! Think of the paperwork!"
"I can't steer this thing!" Lloyd hollered back. Behind him, Jay clung desperately around Lloyd's waist, Kai's arms clinging desperately around his. Cole and Zane hung on for dear life in the back.
"Use the reins!" Nya called from the Bounty. "Cole, you look like you're going to puke!"
"I need a bathroom breeeeeeaaaaaak!" Jay yowled as the dragon rolled over in midair.
"I told you to go before we left!" Sensei Wu called sternly from the bow of the Bounty. "Lloyd, use the reins!"
"You're not telling me how!" Lloyd shrieked as they took another alarming dip. "Would someone please take over this thing before I crash us all?"
"You'll never learn how to steer if you don't practice, Lloyd," Zane said calmly. Jay turned to stare at him.
"Maybe he could learn while we're not on here with him? Did that thought ever penetrate your mind?"
"What mind?" Zane inquired. Cole groaned.
"Oh, no," Kai complained. "Cole, are you getting dragon-sick on us now?"
"Dragon-sick?" Nya asked.
"It's like carsick, but on a dragon!" Kai explained in between frantic yelps. "Cole, how much cake did you eat this morning?"
"All of it," Cole moaned, his face going grey.
"Oh, that's just great!" Jay yelled. "Figures I'm the one sitting in front of you! And I just washed this uniform! Lloyd, can you land this thing?"
"Haven't you been listening?" Lloyd screamed. "I don't know how and I'm going to- mountain! Mountain! MOUNTAIN DEAD AHEAD! UNCLE WU! I'M GOING TO CRASH!"
In an instant, Sensei Wu vaulted off the edge of the Bounty and landed neatly on the dragon. He calmly took the reins from Lloyd and neatly swerved the dragon around the mountain, bringing it in to land quietly on the village cobblestones.
The instant the dragon's feet were planted, Cole lurched off and fell onto his hands and knees behind a bush. Retching could be heard. Jay ran into a small eating house. Zane dismounted smoothly. Kai kissed the ground.
"Well," Nya said positively. "It was pretty good, Lloyd. You just need a bit of-"
"Water," Cole managed, emerging from behind the bush, wiping his mouth. Sensei Wu handed him a teacup, which Cole drained in one go and then handed it back for a refill.
"It was a great trip," Jay said enthusiastically, emerging from the eating house. "We should totally do that again."
And he promptly disappeared under the other four's enraged fists.
