~Chapter 1~

Finally The day has come! I'm moving to Paris. My family had to move for business which didn't affect me at all. I wanted to start my art career and Paris was the perfect place. It has so many picturesque places I can capture in one of my ictires. This was to good to be true!

Mama: MARA HELP US GET THE BOXES INSIDE!

Mara: I'm coming mama!

I hop out of the car and quickly run over to to the moving truck. After awhile I loaded all my boxes to my room. It was perfect. It was a small room that I accessed from a ladder in our living room. When you go up there is a small space with a desk below a loft. Above the loft there was a small latter up to a roof top deck. It was absolutely gorgeous!

~Time skip~

It was the next day and it was my first day at my new school. I got dressed and went downstairs for breakfast. I quickly eat and rush down the steps before I'm late.

Mama: Mara your lunch!

Mara: ~I grab the lunch from her~ Thank you Ma! *kisses her cheek*

I run down the street, I start to slow down after seeing the other students walking. Since I like to observe my surroundings I wanted to start with the students. It was amazing to see so many personalities in one place. Some who were reserved and shy. Others who walked into the place like it was their domain. Suddenly someone bumped into me.

???: OH MY! I'm really sorry.

They helped me to my feet as they picked up my belongings.

Mara: N-no it's fine don't feel the need to gather my things.

???: no I really mus-wait are you new here?

Mara: As a matter a fact yes I am new ~I give her a sweet smile~

???: this is such a bad first impression I presume. ~she giggles~ My name is Marinette.

She extended her hand to me so to shake it.

Mara: My name is Mara. I am hoping we can become good friends ~I smile~

Marinette: Of course! Speaking of a way we can get to know eachother...I host this study group at my house every Wednesday. Some kids from our class go. It will be good for you to meet a lot of new people.

Mara: I will take you up on that offer.

~RING~

Marinette: Oh shoot! Hurry we are going to be late!

She grabs my hand as we rush into the school building together.
