Mike The Merman
I was freezing. The cold ocean air blowing on my skin. Edward
being there didn't help much. We were waiting for Jacob to show up.
They were both so confused, but I had to tell them. Would he be here
soon. He better be, or im screwed. Doing this just to get my heart ripped
out. Just then Jake pulled up in his beat up old Rabbit. "Hey Bell!" he
said all happy. Then he saw Edward. "Hey Jake" I said kinda sad
sounding and he looked concerned. I knew I had to do it. I had to tell
them the truth. When I heard something in the water and saw Edwards
head turn shocked I knew he was here too. "I asked you both here to tell
you something. I'm in love with a merman. Mike Newton." Both of there
jaws dropped to the ground. Jacob cracked up laughing and Edward did
too. I looked shocked as Edward spoke. "You finally decided to tell us!
Now I can tell you bout me! I'm in love with a human, and she not you!
It's Jessica! HAHAHA!" Then Jacob tried to talk but couldn't stop
laughing. "And I imprinted on some girl that just moved here!" Then I
joined in on the laughter! Just then Mike popped up on the shore. Jacob
laughed harder! "What attracted you to that?!" Mike crossed his arms
over his chest. I could stop laughing either. "I fell in love with his
scales! There so manly!" Edward laughed even more at that! Then Mike
got pissed. "As a matter of fact Jacob the merpeople have something
similar to imprinting. That's why Bella and I are perfect for each other!"
Jacob snorted. "Do you have something similar to Edward where you
can change Bella into a mermaid?" Edward laughed more and Mike and
I got series. When they noticed our faces they stopped laughing. Edward
spoke. "Oh. So is this goodbye?" I looked down. "I sure hope not. If I go
on dry land long enough I can get my legs back! I just can touch salt
water! So I hope can all still be friends." Edward nodded his head "Of
course we can Bella!" I looked at Jacob. "Hell yay! You're gonna be a
mermaid! Cool!" I smiled glad they supported me. I looked at Mike who
was glaring at Jacob. Then he took advantage of the awkward silence.
"Jacob yes I can change Bella but it will be quick and painless! So she
wont feel any pain! Unlike the vampires." Edward snarled then turned to
me. "I will always love you Bella. Good luck with Mike." I nodded.
"Thank you." he hugged me goodbye and left. I turned to Jacob. "Ya
what he said." he also hugged me goodbye and left. I turned smiling to
Mike and he smiled back. I took a moment to look at his tale. His pretty
blue scales and his six pack. I'm so lucky to have this. "You ready?" he
said. I nodded my head and walked over to him. I did end up with Mike
after all. We both went into the water and he changed me. I had a
beautiful shell top and pearl necklace when I woke up. My tail was a
pretty pearly white. Later Mike and I got married and lived happily ever
after! The End
