Hi fellow Ozians! Congratulotions on discoverating my FIRST FANFIC EVER! Heh...

Because this is my very first, I hope you will all be as kind (and, if necessary, tactful) as you can.

Disclaimers: This was inspired by a scene from Maleficent. I don't own Maleficent or Wicked.

It was a rainy Thursday afternoon at Shiz, and Galinda and her entourage were singing. The girls had all seen Outuendo, the most popular new musical on Ozway, and all of the songs were annoyingly catchy.

Three tables away, Elphaba sat alone, reading. Or attempting to read, anyway. It was hard to concentrate with all the singing, squeaking, squawking, and screeching from 15 feet away. Ordinarily, she would have sat on the bench outside, far away from a certain blonde and her equally annoying crew, but after being held up by a particularly cruel group of students on her way to the dining hall, Elphaba was not in the mood to be out in the rain. However, she was quickly starting to find that her current situation was not much better.

Things got even worse when a redhead dared to betray Galinda by saying that Reyo should have ended up with Kalila. Ten seconds later, everyone at the table was on their feet screaming at her about what a perfect couple "Reyotta" was and how annoying Kalila was. The redhead appeared to be stunned into silence.

Elphaba put her book down and rested her head on top of it. There was no way she was ever dealing with this again. If this was what it was like to live in a social world, then she would much rather be out in the rain.

Just as she was about to pack up and leave, a wicked idea struck her.

Five seconds later, a gasp was heard, followed by a shriek so loud that you could hear it from Munchkinland. Everyone in the room turned their heads toward the girls' table, where Shen Shen was clutching her head as though she'd been hit by a rock. The room was absolutely silent as she slowly stood up, walked over, grabbed a tuft of red hair, and yanked.

Suddenly, the table was in chaos. Everyone watched as all of the girls began to attack each other's perfect hair, and soon the fight had escalated into the greatest catfight in Ozian history.

Nobody even noticed the bowl of soup floating above Galinda's head...until it was too late. This time, the scream could be heard all the way from Kansas.

Not even a bookface could hide Elphaba's smirk.

So...what didja think? Please review!

And speaking of Maleficent, who else tried to watch Descendants just to see Cheno as a villain? Despite the quality of the movie, I have to admit she was awesome.
