Author's Note: Haha, thought I'd write this. It's a little out of character, but that's purposeful and for the humor aspect. I find that the nicer somebody is, the scarier they are mad. And I think Wade would be really catty when he gets mad, or just cold towards everyone. Obviously, the first was more humorous. XD Please don't forget to review!

"Morning, guys!" Upham cheerily tilted his head in greeting as he got his coffee, only pouring a little bit of the black, steaming liquid into his tin cup. He fanned it with one hand to cool it off. Reiben took a long sip from his own cup and stared at him with a bored expression. "Anybody seen Wade? I wanted to show him something that I found the other day."

Immediately the entire group raised their voices and began to speak at the same time. Upham blinked, and the others died down as Mellish took over. "I wouldn't do that if I were you, Upham. He's being catty this morning."

"Excuse me?" Wasn't catty a term used to describe women..? Like the ones in Reiben's lingerie magazines...? He partially thought that he'd heard wrong. The soldiers laughed, and Mellish flashed a smirking grin.

"You heard me. Wade's being catty. You know, yyyrrroww." Mellish's jaws opened and lips curled, creating a catcall followed by the motion of clawing the air. Upham shook his head slightly for the lack of anything else to do, rather abashed and finding himself blushing. It didn't helped that Reiben sent a mock purr back to Mellish, raising both brows. "Very good job. It's almost arousing." Does he ever talk about anything other than sex?! Upham shuddered as he thought about what Reiben might be thinking about right now. Oh, God.....

"Wade?" He was having trouble believing this, maybe because of who it was coming from. After all, who would think that Wade was capable of being nasty to anybody? It wasn't like he swore like Reiben or anything...

"Wade." Mellish confirmed it with a nod. Jackson gave an mm-hmm and nodded as well, leaning back and focusing on Upham.

"He gets like this every so-often. Best just to let him cool down and go on with your business." There was a chorus of agreement from the others and Horvath laughed dryly. Upham thought for a moment.

"I'm going to go talk to him. Maybe something's wrong and we just don't know it..." His brows lifted in concern and Reiben rolled his eyes, snorting. Upham did the best to ignore this as he made his way towards where the field hospital was set up. After all, wouldn't he be ill tempered today, too, if people were talking about him?

Thirty minutes later, Reiben was in a conversation with Mellish when the soldier broke off, looking at Upham as he approached, wide-eyed. "Do you mind if I sort of hide here?"

"What do you think we've been doing all day?"
