"What's a word that starts with O?"
"Let's see, ummmmm… Obnoxious. Just like you."
"That's not funny man!"
I slapped his arm.
He shoved me.
I shoved him.
And before things got ugly, Kendall broke us up.
"Who is it for?"
"You guys swear you won't tell?"
Kendall glanced at Logan who glanced at Kendall.
"Swear", they replied.
"Okay, here goes nothing….Paola."
"Is that your imaginary hamster", Logan teased.
"Shut up, loser"
"Shut up, butt wipe".
Then again, Kendall broke us up.
"Wait a sec. Paola as in the assistant in Art class?" Kendall asked.
"Yea. She's beautiful. The only bad thing is that she can draw, and I can't. That's why I'm practicing by doing this. A word for each letter of her name," Carlos added dreamly.
"Well, as we say in Minnesota, if you want a friend, you got to be a friend. How can we help you?" Kendall suggested.

I opened the folded paper. This is what it said exactly:

L- Lovable and very Ladylike - (Kendall made up the ladylike)

What happened next was so unpredictable, it left a mark on me. I leaned in for a kiss. And for a second, I wanted to die of embarrassment, but before I knew it, he kissed me back. It was magical. I can't even describe it. I felt his hands go down from my spine all. His hands tingled my whole landed on my waist. My soul left the earth, and I was on another planet. A planet where the only face I saw was Carlos. I think this is what other people call….
