Gale and Peeta:

The Argument

minutes by: Finnick

Disclaimer: I don't own the games, the capitol does.

The fight for Katniss shall begin

if any violence or threats are shown, the quarrel ends

The testimony of Gale begins:

" I have known Katniss for longer, therefore, I know her better

I am perfect for her,and I will never hurt her.

I think that is all to prove my point, Judge."

The testimony of Peeta begins:

"I protected her in the games.

She trusted me, I love her.

Then I learned her love was fake

or so I thought.

I went with the fact that I loved her

but she despised me.

Then, it came to me that maybe this isn't all pretend.

I still don't know.

I think that says it all-

Gale and Peeta stared wide-eyed at Katniss,

who just walked through the door.

Judge Haymitch glanced at Finnick, the scribe.

"What is this?", she yelled, "Is this some kind of court?"

"Aaarrgghh!" Katniss screamed as Finnick escorted her toward the door.

"Now where were we?" asked Haymitch

"Peeta just finished his testimony." Gale volunteered

"Ah yes...Case closed!" said Haymitch.
