Two years have passed since Emily died but Port Charles 'habitant was still grieving for the lost of their angel. Emily has really been the light of the life for all of them, a wonderful daughter for Alan and Monica, a so lovely sister for Jason, a great friend for Lucky and Elizabeth and of course the love of his life for Nicholas. Tonight, a big ball was organized in her memory. A lot of people were invited and a donation was going to be done to the general hospital for honored the generosity of Emily.
At Windermere, Nicholas looked a picture of Emily. He was thinking at what Emily could feel for him now. His story with Elizabeth makes him nervous. He wasn't proud of him. He knows Emily would be disappointed by him and Elizabeth especially because they have hurt lucky so badly.
At the penthouse, Sam was trying to convince Jason to go to the ball. Events like this one were not his favorite things but because he loves Emily so much, he agrees with Sam and prepares himself to go to the party. He keeps thinking at what Emily could have done for Michael if she was alive. Michael was in jail for the murder of Claudia. The situation was really bad and Jason was lost. His sister would have been such a comfort for him now but she was dead. Jason has always taking life like she is but the death of Emily was so unfair, he couldn't accept this.
Quartermaines prepared to go to the ball too. They weren't arguing for once in memory of Emily. She was always here for the peace in this family. Monica cries in watching a picture of Emily. Her daughter has been such a gift for her. She keeps asking how someone could have killed an angel like Emily.
At the metro court, first guests were coming. Alexis Davis and her girls were here. Alexis though if Kristina enjoyed the ball she could stop thinking to keiffer 'death. She looks the piece and sees a big picture of Emily smiling. She smile too and remember the old time when she ask Emily to be her bridesmaid for her wedding with Ned. Time passed cruelly fast….
The ball was successful. A lot of people were here. For one night, all their problems were forgotten. Even Sonny was here, he was talking with Jason, Sam and Carly about Michael and his love for Emily. Sonny remember little Michael playing with Emily with video games.
