Slam!

"Mimi? What's wrong, sweetheart?" Too upset to explain, Mimi brushed past her mother and hurried to her room. That's it! I absolutely hate men! She stormed into her room and locked her door behind her; as expected, her mother was close on her heels, trying to open the locked door and sighing in exasperation.

"Okay, I'll leave you alone. Just let me know when you want to talk." Mimi barely registered the words, barely even registered where she was going through the tears in her eyes. Thankfully, she made it to her bed, where she collapsed crying. The jerk! I can't believe he would do that to me! Sniffling, she wiped her eyes. I wish Sora was here. Or Palmon. Or any of my old friends. Ever since she had moved to New York, she had tried to make friends with as many people as she could, but no one could fill the shoes of those friends she had stood with to save the world all those years ago.

I think it's pretty safe to say that Tai, Matt, T.K., Joe, and Izzy are the only males on this planet who aren't complete pigs. With a sigh, the tears gradually subsided, allowing her indignation and fury to be replaced with a dull, throbbing sadness.

"I wonder if I'll ever find a nice guy. He's got to be cute, too. And strong, so he can protect me!" Mimi pondered aloud, realizing as she spoke that her odds of finding someone like that were pretty astronomical. But on second thought…

Oh, rats! Why does Angemon have to be… well, a Digimon?! He was, in all actuality, everything Mimi wanted in a man. He was exceedingly kind, for one - of course, he was an angel, so that's to be expected. He was absolutely gorgeous, too. Long, flowing blonde hair, tall, muscular… Not to mention, he was easily one of the strongest Digimon the group had ever seen.

"Oh, it's not fair! Why do I meet the perfect guy, and he isn't even the same species as me! I've got to be the most unlucky girl in the world." Mimi sighed. Oh well. I suppose it's not exactly wrong to think about him. I mean, he's way too perfect to not think about. She shook her head. Thankfully, her negative emotions had by this point melted away completely. Only somewhat sadly, she changed into her pajamas and slid under her covers. Maybe tomorrow won't suck so badly.

A/N: Just a short little drabble I thought about doing for a while. Angemon is definitely one hunk of man, and I'm quite shocked Mimi never really said anything in the show. You know the drill. Reviews are nice.
