Unknown Destiny
Chapter 1
Phoebe Halliwell groaned and slowly sat, rubbing her shoulder. It was tender to the touch and she was sure she'd be bruised in the morning. "I hate when that happens" she said shaking her head. "Did we vanquish him?" she asked, glancing toward the spot where she last saw the demon.
"We got him" Piper Halliwell affirmed.
"That's the fourth one this week" Paige Matthews complained pushing the hair out of her face. "You would think even demons would take a break"
"Oh I would really like that" Phoebe replied sighing.
"I really don't feel like cleaning all of this up today" Piper croaked out.
"Me either" Paige agreed.
" I'm gonna go to bed" Piper yawned. "I have to get up really early tomorrow"
"Goodnight" Phoebe and Paige said in unison watching Piper leaving.
" I should be leaving" Phoebe said walking slowly over to the front door.
"Do you want me to orb you home sweetie" Paige asked.
"No I'll be fine" Phoebe replied. "I'll see you tomorrow" she said before leaving the manor.
Phoebe trudged through the sidewalk, hoping to get home before it started raining.
"Just my luck" Phoebe whispered as she felt something wet hit her head. A few blocks away from the manor Phoebe heard footsteps behind her making her stop in her tracks. She turned around but didn't see anyone. "Weird" she said turning back around. Again she heard the footsteps and felt someone grabbed her by the waist. She tried kicking him but it was no used, as if his body was a rock, she also tried calling for Leo but her voice suddenly became weak.
"Don't even think about it" the stranger said pulling out a knife using it to cover her lips. His voice was sterned and controlled making Phoebe feel alittle afraid. "Don't be afraid" the stranger said as if he knew how she felt. She then felt a sharp pain in her neck and was consumed by darkness.
