"It was mum's!"
"But I want no part in it, Rose!"
"Scorpius..."
"No! Last year it was the ugly Christmas sweater I was forced to wear, this year it's carol singing! And on my birthday! I've got two words for you - no bloody way!"
"That's three words, actually..."
"Urgh!"
"Wait, Scorp! It's be fun, I promise. I've been caroling before and we all had a blast. Plus, from what I've heard, a bunch of us are going to some popular new Muggle bar in London beforehand."
"I'm sure your parents, aunts, and uncles will all appreciate that."
"Dammit, Scorpius! You're going, end of discussion!"
"Why do you always think you're in control of me you bloody bi-"
Knock knock knock.
"Er, hello? Am I interrupting?"
"Lysander. Hi. Where's Lils?"
"Right behind me, we were just wondering if you're ready to go."
"Yeah, yeah. Come on Scorp."
"But I -"
"Now."
"Fine."
"Great, everyone can't wait to see you at the party!"
"Lysander!"
"Party?"
"Oh. Shit. I'm sorry Rose, I told everyone not to send me! I suck at secrets!"
"Wait... we're going to a party? You planned a surprise party for me?"
"Just shut up birthday boy, and let's go."
"I love you."
"Whatever."
"I'd go caroling with you anytime."
