ZorraVixen: This is just an Author's Note to help you understand the parts of a beyblade and their function and how this can help with your OC's beyblade.

The Right Five Pieces Equal a Winning Blade

There are five parts to a Beyblade, and each part is interchangeable with similar parts from another blade. Each part plays an important role in determining your blade's fighting style, so it's important to understand how they work.

The Bit Chip – this tells you about the blade's spirit. You don't need this piece to make the blade work, but many bladers prefer to have it. They believe it represents their fighting spirit and could even contain a powerful Bit Beast.

The Attack Ring – this determines the blade's attack strength and type. It is the widest part of the Beyblade, and depending on its shape, it can act offensively or defensively. The Attack Ring is the first part of your Beyblade to make contact with your opponent's Beyblade. Check out the Stat rating on the box. A ring with a high Attack Stat will behave much more offensively than the one with a lower Attack Stat.

The Weight Disk – this sets a blade's strength and endurance. A heavy Weight Disk might increase a blade's strength and stamina, but a light one allows for more movement. You'll have to decide which one you prefer.

The Spin Gear – this determines the blade's spin direction. Most Spin Gears cause the blade to spin clockwise, or to the right, but some Beyblades have spin gears that can spin counterclockwise, or to the left. If you change the spin of your blade, you should remember that it will really change how your Attack Ring works.

The Blade Base – this piece is responsible for the blade's movement patterns and the height of the Beyblade. A Blade Base with a flat base, or a high grip tip, will cause the blade to circle around in the dish far more than one with a pointy tip. This is the only part of your blade that you want to come in contact with the stadium.
