Epilogue
"Excuse me Linda," Elaine asked as she walked towards Linda.
"Yes what do you want?" Linda snapped.
"John, Andrew, Ben and I were wondering if you wanted to join or help out with our performance."
"What's it about?"
"Well, we all decided to do a real life version of the computer game Space Demons."
"What's that?" Linda asked.
"Well…..I'm not the best at telling but if you would like to know more just come to our classroom after school."
"Um I guess."
"Bye," Elaine said, walking away.
…….
"Come on, lets start from the beginning…hello Linda," Elaine called.
"What do you want Linda?" Andrew snapped.
"Andrew calm down I asked her here," Elaine said calmly.
"What! Why? She hates you!"
"No I don't, I was jealous," Linda whispered.
"You….Jealous….Someone call the media….for this certainly is a first," Andrew sarcastically said.
"Andrew that wasn't nice," Ben hissed.
"So what."
"Everybody cool it, we need to practise," Elaine called.
"Ok now that we have settled down we need to explain the performance and the types of music to Linda," Mario said.
So the group sat down and explained everything including about the game.
"Did you get all of that?" Elaine asked.
"So let me get this straight. You three went into a computer game and Ben and Mario were trapped inside of it," Linda replied confused.
"Yes," all replied, except John, who also was learning of this experience.
"Well then, since you guys, except John, know the most you should be able to use it to help the performance along," Linda shrugged.
"Hop to it!" Mario screamed, scaring the bejeebers out of everyone present.
…….
As the people involved in the performance practised everyday, everyone started to feel nervous and practised harder and harder as the performance night came closer and closer. Everyday they spent practising.
…….
As the night of the performance dawned, the performers were getting into costume, when Mr Russell addressed the crowd,
"Welcome ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Space Demons. A performance….."
Elaine tuned out the rest of the speech as she turned to address her fellow performers,
"I just wanted to say good luck to you all."
"And here they all are!" Mr Russell called and walked off stage.
…….
As they performed the crowd watched in awe, as they moved around the stage gracefully.
…….
As the performance finished, the crowd erupted into an ear splitting applause and as the performers bowed they all knew that a bond of friendship had been born.
Until next time.
