Daniel Has Something to Say

Daniel fixed his glasses as he walked into his lab decorated with different cultures from this world and the next. Sighing he went back to the translations from P3X-371, where Anubis was said to have something there of interest. If only he could figure out what it was, and why it was so important. It was very frustrating, he just wanted to be left alone.

"Howdy Danny-boy!" Jack's loud and obnoxious voice attacked him making him jump "whatca doin'?" Daniel was now annoyed and quickly loosing his patience with the translations and now Jack.

"Flying a kite Jack, what does it look like." He snapped and immediately regretted it. It had been his own little secret. Daniel would never admit it to anyone but he had been in love, real love, with Jack O'Neill for the past years, since the first day they had met. Truth, he hated and loved at the same time but that hate grew into something much different. Jack looked shocked but continued saying something and Daniel agreed just to get him out of his lab.

Daniel had no idea how he got here but here he was, with Jack driving to his house and he wasn't sure how he had gotten there. Nor did he care. He didn't have his translations but he did have Jack, and for him that was all that mattered. Pulling up in the drive way of Jack's cabin Daniel had to contain his smile. He was really going to do it, he decided quickly. He was going to tell Jack that he loved him, even if it killed him.

"Welcome home, Spacemonkey. Want something?" Jack said somewhat nervously, he was going to tell Daniel what he felt… hopefully. He had been planning this for sometime even saying what he was going to say in the bathroom mirror. Yeah right like it was going to come out the way he wanted it to. Hilarious.

"Jack" and "Daniel" came out in the same time. Jack started insisting that he start first and Daniel insisted on Jack starting.

"For cryin' out loud!" Jack exclaimed "Just say it!" Daniel sighed 'now or never'

"Jack, there is something I've wanted to tell you for a very long time." Here it goes.
