Dear Sam,

I know that I've done things, and kept things from you, things that I just cant share. I don't know how to express love, or take it. When I try, it all falls apart. Some times I think I'm worthless when it comes to romance, but when I look at you, I seem to have confidence. Then, when I try to let you know how I feel, I end up messing up and saying something completely different. I know this doesn't seem like me, to write a poem….but I have no other way. I cant even write how I feel. So instead, I can say bit's and pieces, and hope you understand what I'm trying to tell you.

Look closer,

And you will see,

The broken man,

I've come to be.

The tears that never fall,

The fears I hide,

There all right here,

Here inside.

Look closer,

And you will see,

The soulless man,

I've come to be.

From hunting demons,

To unnatural thoughts,

Of wanting you,

Of being who I'm not.

Look closer,

And you will see,

The worthless man,

I've come to be.

I cannot fight,

Without fear,

And everyday,

I hide a tear.

Look closer,

And you will see,

The stupid man,

I've some to be.

I've let love come in,

And love flow out,

Some times with you,

I want to shout.

Look closer,

And you will see,

The weak man,

I've come to be.

This love I feel,

Deep down inside,

This one I feel for you,

I try to hide.

Look closer,

And you will see,

The love sick man,

I've come to be.

The thoughts of you,

Calling my name,

As we lay there,

Embracing a sin.

Look closer,

And you will see,

Some things that you thought,

You'd never see.

From untold love,

To fears I hold.

To the thoughts and memories of you,

I hold as gold.

Look closer,

And you will see,

A side I know,

You never thought you'd see.

I've never told you,

How thankful I am,

For you coming with me,

A lonely man.

Look closer,

And you will see,

The softer side,

You've never seen.

From holding you close,

And kissing you for hours,

All I want is you to love me,

For always and forever.

Look closer,

And you will see,

The pleading side,

That side of me.

Just give me a chance,

Just one this time,

Just one to see if I'm worthy,

To call Sam Winchester mine.
