Working in the library was something Ron was beginning to get used to, especially since it was his seventh year and everyone felt the need to be loud and crazy in the common room. He had 'his' own table in the back corner by the Restricted Section. Ron got permission from all his professors to allow him access to that section for more obscure books. He was browsing for a particular defense against the dark arts book when he spotted someone pacing back and forth next to his table, muttering to themselves. He had never seen Millicent Bullstrode like this before. She was always in the background, calm and collected. Now that the war old ended, the Slytherin's were much more relaxed and better to get with.

"Come on, I just need to ask him to lunch in Hogsmeade," she was muttering, running her fingers through her hair. "I mean he'll probably say no, so what do I have to lose?"

Ron was quite shocked and honestly flattered that she wanted to ask him out. She had changed quite dramatically; started taking care of herself and was much more social. Hermione even said that she was quite smart. He took the opportunity now to talk back to the table, book in hand. "Hey Millie," he greeted. She stopped abruptly, and her cheeks tinged pink.

"Hi," she said. "Whatcha workin' on?"

"Just an extra project for defense," he replied. "What brings you back here?"

"Oh well, I was kind of wondering," she started out slowly. "What were you doing this weekend?"

"Oh, you k now, probably just going down to the village," he said, hoping that she would follow through.

"Ah, well, do you have any plans there?"

"Nope, not yet anyways," he said, smiling slightly.

"Well, if you want, we could always go grab a spot of lunch," she suggested softly.

"I'd love to," Ron said. Millie's face lit up. "Now, how about you pull up a chair and we can work on our assignments for a while."

"Alright, thanks," Millie said, putting her bag on the table, and taking a seat. She was secretly doing a happy dance inside. Little did she know that Ron was doing the same thing.
